Cleveland's Scott Riley has been named the head football coach at 2A Swain County.
Unless there's something going on that we don't know about, why on earth would he leave? Especially with all the success he's had
His wife is from Hayesville. Coach Riley is a class act guy.
At some point you start thinking about retirement and life after football. Great place to be and I'd say the Swain job has some solid perks.
Bradley Betterton named the opening athletic director at Wilson's Mills High School
Betterton served as the athletic director and a coach at Archer Lodge Middle for more than 15 years.

No . He has been known or someone on his staff to send out letters to coaches in his conference about Clayton and kids that have transferred into Clayton. In these letters someone has posted the players name and current address in a means to show that kids are out of district. As a coach that got one of these letters( the terrible year spent at Corinth Holders) I found it really weird that whomever sent these letters knew where the kids lived and sent that info out.

What is your problem with the guy? You can’t help but constantly post about him on here even when the conversation isn’t about him. Seems like he lives in your head rent free.
The truth and matter is Clayton has had some bad actors in the form coaches. They have recruited and he’s taken a stand against it.
If a kid and his family decide to move, that’s one thing. When coaches reaches out to kids that’s a totally different story.
You can take up for Clayton if you want but where there’s smoke there’s fire.

Ken’s made it clear that he took a substantial pay cut to coach at RR after having a sweet PE gig in Cabarrus County. He left Cent. Cab. to spend more time with his family, and his boys are getting older. And RR is a very tough job in a tough conference. Those may be some reasons why.
They have had many turn it down but I believe they finally got someone to accept it and I think its actually not a BAD HIRE at all n its some with experience with a lower end losing program (no offense) to help bring at least stability and build it back up.
CMS suspended Sam Greiner with pay on Dec. 5. The district said he was reinstated on Jan. 26 and is now working at Cochrane Middle School.
