Much needed win. Long way to go to get back to relevance. Is third strike looking a stat they keep? Just curious. Not sure I would want to know.

Encouraging showing from the pitchers, especially Kimball and McCreery. We need more of that.
But the bats need to snap out of it. Sixteen strikeouts. The continue to make college pitchers with 4+ ERAs look like first-rounders. How many more runs could they've had in the last few games with just a sac fly or a fielder's choice -- just put the ball in play!

If the Cocks win the series against the very-down Gators, that'd be a ray of hope.

On paper this team still has the opportunity for a very good season in front of it. Only 2 true bad losses to date (Belmont, Ga Southern). 4 one-run losses to good teams.

The next 10 days tho will open or close the door on the possibility for a very good regular season. If we go 3-1 or better this week and next we're sitting quite pretty big picture.

If they lose the series to the VERY DOWN Gators, that will tell us we have little hope of being relevant.

Who brought the most fans to the game? Usually in Charlotte, it has been home games for us for many years in most sports except Men's Basketball. I remember going to the Diet Pepsi Tournament of Champions in Charlotte back in the 90's and UNC may have had more fans but not by much...
