... on that uncanny impression of Dave Ragone last night. Takes real effort to spend that much time on your *** in the backfield. #Heisman
I can't see giving that trophy to a dude that was sacked, what, 8 times in one game... and he's known as a running QB. Has to hurt his chances dramatically, I'd think. WHat may be saving him is the complete lack of competition this year.He is an outstanding QB but it will interesting to see if that UL loss the way they lost takes him out of front runner status.
I JUST got this. Well done, it's early for me.His OLine was stoned.

Not time to kiss their ***. Time to point and make fun. Sorry, your fan guilt has no weight here. F UL.He's a great qb and one game, in which the whole team failed, doesn't change that.
Hope, in the near future, we can get one just as good.
Eleven --- jackson was sacked 11 times.
I disagree. His "escacpability" was in short order last night. His line has failed him before and he made hay with what he had. Houston ATE HIS LUNCH, line or not. Look at all the arm tackles with hands full of jersey that brought him down. Can't blame all the sacks on jackson. his ol stunk. i was impressed with his effort. he played his guts out.
I'm sure Houston is looking for fans...Houston did what UK's been unable to do in 10 games this year....put pressure on the QB. Makes all the difference in the world.

And, how is that any different than what was going to happen anyway?you just karma'd UK into getting their *** kicked next Saturday! He'll go off for 300+/150+ now.....
I don't like to talk crap about a player or team prior to having to meet them. It's never worked out in my favor.
He's still one of the greatest college QBs ever!
I hope the trophy has a hand-etched "11 sacks against Houston" in the dead wax.He is still the best player in the country and will win the Heismann. His Oline is crap.
Eleven --- jackson was sacked 11 times.
11 sacks. Greatest ever.I am not a Louisville fan. I am a Kentucky fan. However, Jackson is a tremendous football player with freakish abilities. He's been impressive ever since his debut against Auburn last year. Quite a talent.
Read thread. Don't care. They were going to beat us anyway and our game with them is not the point... having to listen to them brag about a GD playoff berth for the next 20 years IS THE GD POINT.Hey guys, don't give Jackson any ammunition for when he gets ready to play against us again. You know we have to play them in 10 days and you know they will be fired up and pissed off.

I won't blame him for the sacks (most of those are on his OL). However, he threw plenty of horrible passes that helped contribute to last nights drubbing.

I don't see how a qb who was sacked 11 times, if that is correct, can be blamed for throwing some bad passes. Tom Brady wouldn't be real accurate getting hit that much. I don't care for Lousiville or Petrino and Grantham, but a qb getting pressured like Jackson was last night isn't going to look very good. Houston played flawless defense last night. Not a poster on this site or my home site who wouldn't be excited if Jackson was our qb.
He has a long way to go to be called one of the greatest ever. He is certainly one of the top5 players today and might still be the best but I don't put him in the best every discussion. That's a really special group and it's a fairly long list that would probably be above him. Right now Jackson is about the level Couch was when he was play for us.you just karma'd UK into getting their *** kicked next Saturday! He'll go off for 300+/150+ now.....

I'm not sure I agree with this. I don't recall many plays total that he wasn't under heavy pressure. Most of the bad passes that I saw were thrown when he was not under pressure. He repeatedly threw at his WR's feet or over their heads. These were short and medium routes.
