Most of the bad passes that I saw were thrown when he was not under pressure. He repeatedly threw at his WR's feet or over their heads. These were short and medium routes.

Like I said, getting hit as hard and often he was last night effects his passes even when he has some time. I can't believe how fast Houston was playing, looked much faster than teams who are suppose to have great defenses. And they did it the entire first half, not a series or 2 like most teams who are riding an emotional high into a game.

He has a long way to go to be called one of the greatest ever. He is certainly one of the top5 players today and might still be the best but I don't put him in the best every discussion. That's a really special group and it's a fairly long list that would probably be above him. Right now Jackson is about the level Couch was when he was play for us.
Can't compare...two completely different players...how about Teabow?

you just karma'd UK into getting their *** kicked next Saturday! He'll go off for 300+/150+ now.....

I don't like to talk crap about a player or team prior to having to meet them. It's never worked out in my favor.

He's still one of the greatest college QBs ever![/QUOTE]

that is a HUGE stretch...oh, wait; that must be Rick Pitino

He does that a lot. It's going to cost him when he is evaluated by NFL scouts. As a NFL prospect, he's clearly a high upside player, but he has a high potential to bust- and I venture to say that a bust is the most likely scenario.

This is what I have been hoping for all season, apply an aggressive pressure and take your chances that you will get burned once in a while! Yes, I can hear the "nay sayers" now, we don't have the quality of defenders necessary to implement that type of defense, & furthermore, we do not have quality/quantity back-ups!!! To that I say, we'll never know unless we try it!

I can't see giving that trophy to a dude that was sacked, what, 8 times in one game... and he's known as a running QB. Has to hurt his chances dramatically, I'd think. WHat may be saving him is the complete lack of competition this year.
He was sacked 11 times and any other qb in the country it would've been over 15 100%. The voters take into account that his O-line was taking part in the mannequin challenge. I think he still wins

I disagree. His "escacpability" was in short order last night. His line has failed him before and he made hay with what he had. Houston ATE HIS LUNCH, line or not. Look at all the arm tackles with hands full of jersey that brought him down.

He's a decent running QB, but I refuse to suck him off in jealousy like some in this thread. He's human, as CLEARLY proven last night.

Besides, he looked just as bad against Wake. Wake sucked just enough.

I'm embarrassed to call you a fellow UK fan. While never being a fan of the cards, I came to royally hate them because of reading drivel like this on their boards about one of our players or team. Now I just don't read their boards at all, they don't exist to me and I am firmly back to just not being a fan of theirs. When people talk bad about the UK fan base, they are talking about you so I guess you have that going for you so congrats!!!!
