Does the cold weather hurt a team that passes vs run? Does it help a physical team or hurt them.

I believe once playing and in the middle of the game that the boys who are playing after a while don't worry about the cold unless it's really bad cold which Friday won't be. It's harder on the fans and bench warmers then the ones playing. We've just been spoiled this year with unusually warm football season I've been to games in Avery in October in the pouring snow.
A cold ball may affect the pass some depends on how cold or kicking it but I believe the rain and mud last week affects the game more than the cold I saw serval plays on both side last Friday in the mud bowl that was affected by a slippery ball.

I hear some players used to wear panty hose to stay warm lol
I believe it was the Vikings -Bills game where a kicker expecting a field goal try was warming his foot at one of those big heaters and Daryl Johnston said he better be careful that one of those heaters melded the shoe sole that he has seen guys jackets catch on fire.

No game here but it's
7pm 36
8pm 33
9pm 30
It has changed a degree or 2 about every hour but down on that football field beside the river, it always feels about 5 degrees colder. At 6:15 it has changed on www.weather.com. Now it has come up a degree.
7 pm 42 degrees
8 pm 40 degrees
9 pm 38 degrees
10 pm 36 degrees, no change but the game should be about over unless a running clock with an earlier end but I would not bet on.
