I didn't know that. I think my point was more that it gives me the feeling that the families think their kids are actually being looked over, mentored, and taken care of. That is enhanced in my mind if a sibling notices that. It means someone is telling them how great the experience is. I take a lot of pride in that.

If I'm not mistaken, there was a third Zeller that went to ND, right? If not, then I apologize.
No, you're right on with everything that you said, and I agree about the Plumlees. It's just that maybe two Zellers instead of the one may have ended up at Indiana ultimately under different circumstances. I guess Mike Brey wasn't able to work his magic on the Zeller family, too busy bashing the coverage of one-and-dones maybe

I don't know why that is, but I always liked our end of the contrast in the Plumlee/Zeller dynamic. It says something to me that the Plumlees were all enamored with the same place and wanted to play together. It said something different that the Zellers wanted to play apart.

I don't mean that to say I think one group were better kids, but I always felt like that said something about the school. I feel like that with Jones too. He will have the option of going elsewhere and playing more from the start, but seems to be enamored with Duke. I like that.

Sorry, it's hard for me to articulate, but it makes it seem more like a "family" feel to me which is cool.
IMO the Zellers were more ready commits out of High school and had star potential and probably wanted to be stars. I never saw that potential from the Plumlees and I doubt the expected to come in and be stars. With Cody, i'm sure he wanted to come in and be the man day 1, that wasn't going to happen at UNC with Tyler there.

Duval is the type of talent that you don't pass on if he is interested in your program. Coleman is a quality recruit and Duke would be fortunate to land him, but Duval can be a game changer. From day one.

Seems like more recruiting gurus feel like he's leaning towards Duke?

Agreed if we add coleman and knox we are a preseason top 10 team. But if we add duval and knox we are the best team in the country . Like you said duval is a game changer.

The Zellers were more polished, but because of the athleticism and speed, I felt the Plumlees had more room to grow. Out of the six, a Plumlee is the best of the group.

Don't disagree, I just mean how the Plumlee's weren't looking to be 1 and done, you could tell Cody wasn't going to be a 4 year player, so he needed the opportunity to shine early. Agree Mason is the best of all 5, but Cody is pretty close.

Cody was easily the best Zeller and is definitely having a good season, plus signing for $56 million shows that he was worth something to the Hornets. If you look at Cody and Mase's stats career and for the season, they are almost identical. Like down to the decimal point identical.
