It was mentioned on another site that maybe we can make Beamer's son the new WR coach. :ROFLMAO:

You either cry about all this or laugh about it. I prefer the later.

I hope Carolina at least got some sort of contract buyout from him or UGA for the inconvenience. Knowing Tanner and our BOT, that Coley guy and UGA played them like a fiddle.

Must be nice to come in and take a look at out playback and our plan for the future and leave for our conference rival. That is BS!

Is Alshon Jeffrey, Sidney Rice or one of our great receivers of pass gamecocks glory available to coach the receivers somebody who truly want to coach for the gamecocks

Nice Coley - good acting job when you arrived. Go get someone better than this guy - that`s the only way to make up for this.

I see some are bashing Beamer, yet this was considered a "home run" hire, and most fans were happy. Beamer hired "good" coach. Coley signed a contract, and left. Beamer and Tanner did their jobs. I don't like what happened, but this is not first time it has happened in college football, and it won't be the last time.

It's certainly not good news for Beamer or the program. But it happens.

We just pulled the HC of a team who was 2 days into spring practice.

Oh well.

If losing a WR coach hurts that bad, we have bigger problems.

F him. It’s no loss cause he never coached here. Makes him look worse than it does us.

If there was better border security, Elliott would still be in Georgia and Coley would still be in South Carolina. Build a wall!

It makes it difficult to be upset with teenagers who don't understand commitment when grown men don't understand it either.
Coley is a skilled professional participating in a competition and compensation based labor market. He signed a contract and is exiting that contract based on pre-negotiated conditions (i.e. the buyout). I don't think that reflects a lack of commitment. An opportunity presented itself that he deemed "better," for whatever reason(s).

I think that's a labor market functioning appropriately.

Some of you s**** will try to find anything to pile on criticism when you have no idea about the facts. Call yourself a supporter when you post erroneous information??? By the way. Coley is crawling back to a program where he was demoted from oc in 2019 because Ga. was 50th in the nation in scoring and 61th in total offense. He left for A&M kinda like Stepp left for that great Fighting Illi program.

We hired a good guy. So good that a top tier team wanted him. Good hire by Beamer. Now he has a chance to hire again! Let’s see what happens.

A technically correct application of contract language does not preclude a lack of commitment.
