I'd be excited if NBA2K hasn't been trash for nearly a decade now.... still will buy the 1st year for nostalgia reasons.
Literally have no clue who that is or what you're talking about. Although he does seem like he'd be quite upset if the fans of whoever wins the title burns couches as a celebration.

I've not gamed in years (think super nintendo), but I'd get a system specifically to play college basketball; esp. so if they had it so you could match up teams from the past. The last time I played the Kentucky version in the game was the Unforgettables. They couldn't use real names, but the Hewlett kid (I guess he was representing Richie) could flat light it up. UNC was the best team on it...I only beat them a little better than half the time. Arkansas had a good team. Now it would be even better, using real names and images.
It would probably be EA who does it as they already have the football game. EA stinks too but will give them credit on CFB 25 being damn good (loads better than Madden)
I bought CFB25 but didn't play it as much as I thought I would have. Not sure if I'm getting old or UK football put a damper in this season.
Hope if they bring it back they can let us play with college basketball legends as well. That would be my interest getting to play with Wall, Cousins, Issel and heck any UK team.
Wish they had Team-builder for College Basketball like they do Football. I can’t remember if the last CBB game had a dynasty mode or not, or something similar to it

I think it did have a dynasty mode...though I don't remember a lot about those games. Sucks the game went away right when UK was becoming great (Cals first big years at UK) because UK would have dominated in that game. Probably would have had several players make the covers too.
That would’ve been fun. I know the last game didn’t have Rupp arena listed as one of the “toughest places to play” which I thought was sh!tty

I’d love it as long as they don’t make it a micro transaction fest like the other games. In EA Soccer you have to spend hundreds to unlock the players you want, it’s stupid as hell. I miss buying the game, and having all the features and rosters at launch and being able to play online without paying to unlock players later.

The 2K series had a great career mode. Open (start at whatever school you want), or closed (start at a low major and work your way up as other coaches retire/get fired/take new jobs). The recruiting was really deep too with recruiting budgets based on school size, an AAU type circuit, etc.
Just fell to my knees at walmart.

Coach K (yes he sucks) was maybe the best basketball game ever. PlayStation 1 I’m guessing? It has real players without names. Plus classic teams like Magic and Mich. ST. AND you could shatter the backboard with a dunk.
Anyway, it was the only game that had fluid fast breaks. I don’t play anymore, but I’m told that even the latest 2k does not have fast breaks where the players don’t slow down and mimic half court D and offensive play during a fast break. Which ends the fast break as it would happen in reality.

I like your posting style, but who really cares about what someone's avatar is? This isn't a bar where the unwritten rule is no politics or religion. I only care about the quality of folks posts on here.
Please make this happened I haven't bought a new console in a while because I was going to just to get the college football game they just put out. If they do this I will definitely get the most up to date system to be able to get the college football and college basketball games . The only games I really play on gaming systems are sports games.

EA pulled the franchise due to poor performance a couple years prior to the Supreme Court ruling that caused EA to discontinue the college football franchise, if I recall correctly.
