OK great for Ga T, but once again , what team with a +.500 regular season did Otis beat!Nature of College Football.. any given Saturday especially road Conference Games...a 5 win Georgia Tech beat FSU for example

^^^^ I think he's got you there Public. I actually agree with your take pretty much on the top 25 and you and the others (WildCard etc) provide some good feedback most of the time, but it's all sort of with the backdrop of seeking some attention for your cards most of the time.
"spinning" what have you been doing this entire post?!!!Fair enough Soupbean...
To sluggercatfan...posted the AP Top 25 last year when Louisville wasn't ranked...just something I do because it signals the start of College Football...didn't want to go into a UofL/UK thing for the reason ppl just spin in circles...that why I put the SEC Schools in Bold and even those in the Receiving Votes Category.
Again wish you guys a Successful Season and see you Rivalry Week....again my Prediction for Louisville is 9-3 & 6-2 in ACC Play....Ceiling of 10 Regular Season Wins and a floor of 7 Regular Season wins.
For Kentucky 5-7...a Floor of 4 Regular Season wins and a ceiling of 7 Regular Season wins.
Must be nice to "worry" about teams like Marshall and Virginia. UVA ESPN preseason #66 and Marshall #75. I thought you guys were powerhouse football.
Says a lot about your strength of schedule when you are worried about teams like THAT. I forget though, you guys are used to massive cupcake schedules in the past, so now that you play maybe 2 ranked conference teams in a season, you think you are with the big boys. But teams like Marshall and UVA still scare you...lol.
Duke, NC St, and Syracuse are all as good as, if not better than Vandy, USCjr, and Missouri. You guys play one more cupcake OOC than we do, so shouldn't anything less than 8 wins be a failure for you guys?By UofL standards they play a decent schedule this year. But that's only because the non conference schedule is stronger than most years. They play Houston who is a top 20 team along with Marshall and UK. Then you throw in games against Clemson and FSU and the top portion of their schedule is respectable. But the rest of their conference schedule is embarrassingly easy unless you consider games against the likes of Duke, NC State and Syracuse to be difficult. But none of those teams are likely even top 50 teams so they should be easy wins for the juggernaut that is UofL football lmao. Seriously anything less than 9 wins should be considered a huge failure imo. I bet UK would have an excellent chance at pulling off 8 wins with that schedule.
I'm pretty sure an Auburn team that only went 2-6 in the SEC last year managed to beat your powerhouse team last year didn't they? So I think it's not much of a stretch to say that Vandy, USC and Missouri are better than middle of the pack teams in the ACC.Duke, NC St, and Syracuse are all as good as, if not better than Vandy, USCjr, and Missouri. I'm thinking 7, but hope for 8!!!Duke, NC St, and Syracuse are all as good as, if not better than Vandy, USCjr, and Missouri. You guys play one more cupcake OOC than we do, so shouldn't anything less than 8 wins be a failure for you guys?
2-6 in the SEC west is totally different than 2-6 in the east....huge differenceI'm pretty sure an Auburn team that only went 2-6 in the SEC last year managed to beat your powerhouse team last year didn't they? Probably correct RC ,so what does that tell you and PE where Otis probably would have finished.2-6 in the SEC west is totally different than 2-6 in the east....huge difference
It goes in cycles the West has been the much stronger side the last several years no doubt.2-6 in the SEC west is totally different than 2-6 in the east....huge difference
Actually they should've been 1-7 because we blew the game against them. But my argument is pretty simple. Auburn with as poor of a record as they had last year would've probably been the 4th or 5th best team in the ACC more than likely and won 9 games. So what I'm saying is you don't have to be that great of a team to win 8 or 9 games with the schedule that UofL plays. But year after year you guys like to puff out your chests every preseason like your some kind of powerhouse with National Championship hopes. It's just pure ignorance and I don't mind calling out UofL fans for it.2-6 in the SEC west is totally different than 2-6 in the east....huge difference
I think Notre Dame way overrated (shocker). I also think Michigan, Louisville, and Florida are overrated.
I think LSU is underrated. Not sure about UT, they could flop or they could go to the playoff.
We did beat 4-4 A&M. Our schedule last year was tougher than yours, that's especially true if you take our head to head out of the equation.Actually they should've been 1-7 because we blew the game against them. Well considering A&M had their top two qb's tranfer out before that game it's a pretty meaningless win. But please continue on spinning the usual bs you guys love to cling to. Its certainly not very difficult to prove you wrong. We did beat 4-4 A&M. Our schedule last year was tougher than yours, that's especially true if you take our head to head out of the equation.

Telling you are wrong...Remember I was one of the few Louisville posters that you gave credit for not saying 10-2...if you remember I was worried about Houston since it was between Auburn and Clemson but thought we would win because Herman was a 1st year coach.
This year the two games I worry about are @ Marshall and @ Virginia...Mendenhall is a hellva coach
Who are you talking about? Too many we, they, to follow.Actually I predicted a 7-5 floor and a 9-3 ceiling and said 8-4 record..never said a 9-3 floor....LMBO...this year a 10-2 Ceiling and 7-5 Floor...calling for a 9-3 record...
Well said.Thats the problem with the UL UK talk. People talk in circles. Credit can never be given. People live in ifa coulda shoulda worlds. If UK would have made that play, if UL played in the SEC, If UK played in the ACC, of my aunt had a set, if this player steps up, if that plauer lays down. Give credit, stop dealing in fantasy worlds and go with what is in front of you and I dont mean a beauty contest like a poll. At the end of the day there are numbers out there to support every argument. SOS ratings, Def ratings, off ratings etc etc etc. USE THEM.
Yet you walk into a UK UL thread on any message board in America and everyone deals in fantasy arguments??? WTF people. Is Idiocracy upon us (dont answer that question Millenials I dont want you to hurt yourselves). This is on both sides too not just us or them. Deal with the facts (like slugger posted) and youll get a lot farther than this constant cycle of my dads better than your dad stuff.
Well said.
It does not hurt to say good job to the rival, unless you have all of your self-worth tied up in how others perform.
I try to avoid any Cat/Card discussions because of that very issue. You are dealing with 2 passionate fan bases that are not going to retreat from their fandomonium.
We own the basketball series, they own the football series (don't go into the history and number of wins, just look at the field) . If we want to debate it, we better will on the field.
