There aren't many players in FCS that make the jump to FBS and no D-III players I can remember. The mid majors in FBS are where the few outstanding players get picked from. The P4 teams don't miss out on many players who can play at that level coming out of HS.

It's not the number, it's the quality. The true high-quality outliers from lower classifications will be snatched up.
