I wish we were there. Hopefully we will get there soon. Who is everyone rooting for? I am pulling for all 3 SEC schools, but especially LSU, because they have a fanatical fan base that loves LSU baseball. I wish we had the same.

If UK had as cws apperances and NCs as LSU we would have a rabid baseball fanbase.

I'm mostly rooting for LSU, though their shenanigans last weekend make me somewhat reluctant.

I hate Tennessee and Florida and hope both lose all of their remaining games.

I wouldn't mind seeing Wake Forest or Oral Roberts win it all.

I just got done watching the Florida-ORU game. I usually root for the SEC team but I found myself wanting ORU to win. Oh well Florida won anyway, but they made it close.

Well, it is down to four. Florida/TCU in one bracket and Wake Forest/LSU in the other. I am rooting for an all SEC final, but TCU and LSU each have one loss and have to beat their respective opponents twice, while Florida and WF only have to win one game to advance to the best 2/3 finals.

Just about all the games have been very close. If I were an ESPN producer, this is what I'd be aiming for. Maybe they are. The double elimination loser bracket winner vs winner bracket loser games were the only two games that weren't that close.

If LSU wins again Thursday, we will have an all-SEC final again. It just means more.

I hate that Florida made it to the finals, but it's not surprising given that they came out of a far easier bracket. having LSU, Wake, UT, Stanford was murderous on the other side.

Given that Skenes will be used tonight, Florida is a heavy favorite to win the title.

Florida, LSU and Wake have a ton of talent on each roster. I agree they pitch Skenes tonight and Lowder for Wake.

So the winner of the LSU/ Wake game will play Fla in a best of 3 series for the title?

Great game! If UF-LSU goes to game 3 on Monday, I'd guess Skenes will pitch that game.

How was it a far easier bracket? Virgina and Stanford are a wash. Tcu gave uf a harder challenge than the vols(who they swept earlier). Fyi, Tcu crushed Arkansas over and over again in the regular season and eliminated Arkansas post season. Think they out scored arky like 50-13 overall or something like that.

Harder? Yes. Much harder? No

Difference being ultimately wake forest.

Luck FellSU. That ******** they pulled with the faux rain delay means I'll never root for their baseball team again. Hope they are as tight as we were after they cheated for their next few games that they get swept.

Geaux Tigers! Having to come out of the day-later play bracket & play the #1 seed 3X means they've had it tough while FL coasted. Give me the underdog.

This shows that we are THE baseball conference, and adding Texas and Oklahoma will make it stronger. UK will need to up our game.
Unless you win league, always have to get better. TX & OU not ranked as high as UK, so don't see how they make things tougher.

Disagree. Florida got the pleasure of facing Oral Roberts, a once-beaten TCU team, and they got lucky to beat a better than average Virginia Team (but no one would mistake this UVA team for a powerhouse).

The other bracket has the most talented team in the country (LSU), the consensus number 1 team (Wake), the deepest pitching staff in the country and the team ranked 2 in the preseason (UT), and a very tough and resilient Stanford team. It's night and day.

I would say that Stanford and Virginia were pretty similar teams. Stanford was the weakest team in their bracket while Virginia was the second best team. I stand by my comment that Florida had a FAR easier path.

You propping up UT based on a preseason ranking is funny. Try to say outloud what you just typed....and see if you dont either laugh or feel immediate shame. I literally laughed. No joke. That, in of itself, is worthy not taking you seriously, but I digress.

Vols finished the season 7th in the SEC. They barely qualified to host a regional and was super close to being a #2 in somebody else's regional, like Texas A&M. Then UT played a decent, but not good Southern Miss team in the super regionals....which had to go to three games.

And trying to paint UT on a preseason ranking and pitching staff that really didn't come through a lot of times as something better than what they were? Good grief, man.

Stanford won the Pac and the next best team was.........a very, very average Oregon State. Oregon State would be right where Alabama ended up if they were in the SEC. Stanford played in the worst power conference and faced a very average Texas team in the supers.

Tcu is easily better than Virginia and proved it on the field head to head(as well as knocking around a top sec team several times).

Uh, I read what I typed out loud and didn't laugh. Not sure where your sense of superiority is coming from, my belief in UT's pitching staff was hardly in isolation. Go back and watch the selection shows and listen to the D1 baseball podcasts. Most of their talking heads said that UT was a dark horse World Series team b/c of their pitching depth. I hate UT, it gives me no pleasure to give them any credit, but I'll call a spade a spade after they went on the road and knocked out the hottest team in baseball (Clemson) and then went to hattiesburg and knocked out a good team playing for their retiring coach.

You're entitled to your opinion, I just think it's (very) wrong.

I’d say that’s very unlikely on three days of rest. Wouldn’t count out finishing a game though if he feels good.
I don't agree. If a final winner take all game occurs, I could see him bypassing his normal rest and going 50-60 pitches, whether that is starting/ending the game is hard to say.

It is really too bad we had the super regional match up with LSU. If we had been in a super regional with anybody other than them, Wake Forest, or Florida we would have been in Omaha. Maybe we will get a better draw next year or host a super.
