That's great news. Last year he was a tentative and skinny frosh. This year, hope he starts playing up to his hype and potential and has a breakout season. At 6-11 and with his athleticism and skills, the sky's the limit.

Nance taking a big step forward is the single fastest way this program becomes competitive. He’s big enough and skilled enough to open up opportunities for Kopp, Gaines, Turner, and hopefully Beran.

If we have a better year than expected, it will be because Nance took the Shurna leap from freshman to sophomore year.

From what I saw of the Europe trip I wouldn't count on it. Kopp played much better than Pete.

I’m not saying it’s a guarantee, either. I just think Nance has the biggest margin from where he was last year to where he is capable of going, and if he starts to unlock that potential it will greatly benefit his teammates.

Kopp is very talented too. I think his comp is more Drew Crawford, who was best cast as a deadly second option when he was really on his offensive game.
