Could be either way

Kentucky decides to not wait on Stokes and finally gives Collins a bag he can not reject

Or Collins can not wait and decides to go to other school

UCLA seems make a late push and see some UCLA fans are pretty confident they get Collins

Both could be true

I hope the staff has done their homework and this doesn't end up being another Caleb Wilson recruitment because we missed out on a couple of good players because he kept stringing the staff along. I hope Stokes isn't stringing us along because Collins would be a huge get.

don't wait..........
seems like a lot of top guys don't' want to play alongside Stokes
Maybe getting Collins would get Rippey & Holt to come to UK

Could have been the meeting with Stokes family did happen and as a result of that it gave clarity to the staff and Collins one way or the other.
Yes, this looks like too coincidence

If the rumor with meeting Stokes family is true, then Collins will announced soon seems pretty reasonable...

It could be Stokes family tell Pope no, or tell Pope still far from finish line, and Pope decides to take Collins now.

Or could also be Stokes family gives firmly commitment, and Pope tells Collins no.

Or could be just Collins decides to go to certain school with no relationship with potential visit with Stokes family. (In this case most likely UCLA or USC)

My guess is Collins to USC, Stokes to UK.

I just don’t recall any kids straight up going Adidas when they just signed with Nike. The only example I’ve seen was a program that we switching to Nike. That’s a massive sample size. Not a coincidence.

I'm leary of west coast kids. Seems like his ties are there.
I'd bet on USC or UCLA.
Should be interesting.

Thai thread is pure comedy. Pure definition of the meaning of fans. We know nothing, everybody is reading way too much into everything, but it’s very entertaining. Please don’t stop.

My guy, don’t worry. It’s not going to stop.

I remember saying when Stokes and the agents were floating UK is in the bag that we would see a sharp turn where UK was no longer the leader. Sure enough his mother comes out with those comments about never watching Kentucky. Bam, we’ve lost him.

It’s still amazes me that so many really do listen to what comes out of these camps. Decade after decade still believe in fluff coach speak articles, and going in circles following all of this year after year.

It will never stop. I haven’t followed recruiting since it became really ridiculous around 2015/16. At least back in the 90’s through 2010/12 you really could follow it. Now it’s all nonsense and it’s still followed. It blows my mind. It’s obviously all for bids and clicks.

I can see it now. Mark wakes up and reads her comments. Gives her a call - “Ms. Stokes, you really got the base going. Now why do that…”

“We woke up to 2500 DM’s. You said if I did it to prepare, you’re right!”

I would say just lock up Collins

Unless Stokes tell you yes, you can not quit on Collins

Because if you quit on Collins, if Stokes final say No to you, then you get nobody

Just get Collins first regardless, and I dont think Kentucky lacks money...

I remember Kentucky quit on or did not recruit hard on multiple frontcourt guys because they felt good on Caleb Wilson, but finally Kentucky was just a hat on the table for Wilson to get more money from UNC

Good observations. I can't see him coming east to school. Who knows but the article doesn't really point to UK IMO.
Pope will get his guys!

It would be nice to reel one in though. lol
