'Ya know at my dealership we have strict "anti harassment" rules. For instance, you may not be aware of how your comments may be perceived by someone hearing it, but if they're offended by your off color comments, YOU can held liable by management for harassment! It doesn't matter what you thought your words meant, if someone else hearing them thinks it was offensive...then you're guilty of harassing that person!
I don't necessarily agree with that policy, but that's the company's "Law" on harassment and so it's best to just keep your mouth shut or your off color jokes to yourself...especially around Females! We had one sales associate fired for talking about another Female associate's *** (in a non flattering way) and another Female heard it and filed a sexual harassment case against him! He wasn't even talking to the chick offended, but she was offended and reported him.
