Asked directly if he was ever asked to stop his investigation into Russian attempts to interfere in our election?

Comey says "No"

Asked directly if there was any "collusion" from the Trump administration with Russian attempts to interfere in our election?

Comey said "No"

Asked directly if he was prevented from carrying out his investigation into either collusion, or if he was asked to obstruct the investigation in any way? (including the investigation of Mike Flynn?)

Comey said "No"

The entire Democrat and Leftist conspiracy into this whole ridiculous story has been directly refuted by former FBI Director James Comey...rock solid denials.

Now the Left moves onto the "next" meme....that he was somehow "coerced" or "threatened" to remain loyal to Trump and because he refused, Trump fired him without cause, and even lied about him!

Watch.

Absolute Bull Crap from the 'left'. Perfectly reasonable for someone entering a position to expect or, even demand, loyalty/support from those chosen to serve with him. All the more reasonable when choosing to retain someone from a previous regime. Why is such a request even a question? Defies logic to NOT seek such loyalty and support.

I know, it'll be that Melania hates him and won't move to the White House.

All the more reasonable to ask when that very Dude (Comey) had already excused Hillary of a major violation of Federal Law! The espionage act!!!!!

She didn't have any "intent"? Is that his job to determine as a Law enforcement Officer?

Give me a break.

Wow. Comey just admitted that he was the leaker.

Damn bad day for the liberals.

Leftists will now claim he was "forced" to leak for fear of Trump "lying" on him.

These people are batsh*t loopy.

You do realize that the oath taken by a federal employee is to support and defend the Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic. The loyalty is to the nation, not its leader.

Not necessarily, as he had shared his meeting with others within the FBI.

The media now has to explain why all of its so called "sources" alleging obstruction of this investigation were 100% dead wrong?

ALL of them!

more cherry picking by nuts.

He testified as a private citizen, he leaked his own personal written recollection of a conversation to a third party with the instruction of getting it to the press. That is not an illegal "leak".

Try real hard to comprehend. I know it is hard with people with such a small brain and huge agenda.

This is of course true, but it is also a pledge of loyalty to uphold the Law as well as enforce it!

Trump was asking for THAT loyalty pledge too especially since Comey had essentially already taken the Law into his own hands with that stupid "intent" remark by Comey refusing to recommend Hillary for prosecution of her willful and knowing violation of the espionage act.

Trump saw that too you know?

Implying he is a "leaker" is implying he did something illegal. He shared his unclassified conversation with the press.

And aren't you supposed to not care about this and just take your usual bias and uninformed perspective?

Who said the leaking was illegal? The memo was wrong, and the charges made in it were false.

Is it OK to smear the President with no evidence?

You're probably OK with that huh Bru?

My question would be - why did he have a friend do it and not just do it himself?

He explained it in his testimony. Are you watching or not watching? I'm not going to repeat it but go read the transcript if you are not watching. I myself am not sure I understand his answer to that question.

I'm not watching or listening. Just read that little piece while on a boring conference call.

I think he said he wanted to make sure the record was straight, and that Trump wouldn't "lie" about him or the good work the FBI was doing.

I suppose he thought Trump's "Intent" was to lie on him, so he wanted to make sure the accurate record was out there?

This Comey is a piece of work a real live weasel!

Ok. I say still read the transcript but it had something to the fact he was going out of town with his wife to hide while the press was camping outside his house on a feeding frenzy that he included an analogy of sea gulls or something. So he thought it would be best as a private citizen wanting privacy to go through a third party. I could have some of the facts wrong with my paraphrasing.

He had a massive pool of press camped out at the end of his driveway. He said he thought it would be like feeding sea gulls at the beach. You really should try to watch it in its entirety at some point. Draw your own conclusions and form your own opinions regarding his testimony.

I don't care much about leaks. I also don't put much stock into anonymous sources. We've definitely seen the result of those lately. The information ends up wrong, or fitting someone's agenda. I can't believe the MSM has fallen for them as much as they have lately.

And aren't you supposed to not care about this and just take your usual bias and uninformed perspective?

I'm not as middle of the road as you Bru, my bad.

I figured.

countryroads89, CNN is already out there with the exact meme I predicted to open this thread, despite the fact Comey has totally refuted the primary charges being made against Trump for the past six months!

Now I know you can't stand Trump's guts, and that's fine. But even you have to admit this is pretty comical how it's now on to the "next" terrible thing about him and this whole other meme about "collusion" or "obstruction" is just a big "never mind"?o_O

Really contryroads89?

Now you're worried about Trump trying to lie on Comey?

That's the big story now?

Are you that gullible?

I sell cars, come see me when you're ready to buy a new vehicle. I can make A LOT of money on you!

What dealership?

Mall of Georgia Ford in Buford Georgia. I'll hook you up with a nice F-150 quad cab with a 4.7 litre Ecoboost and extended bed with a spray in liner.

Fully loaded, Dealer incentive financing and full extended warranty with custom accessory package.

Make you a "special" deal since you're such a committed Leftist willing to "pay your fair share"

I just bought a new Murano, but if you could make me a "special' deal with either Sonya, Alexis, or Nicole, then I would truly be interested.

And comey serves at the pleasure of the president. If comey were honest, he should resign if he felt obstructed. He's another federal employee without any honor.

I've been Married 35 years to the most fabulous Wife/Mother/Friend a guy could hope for Airport.

I had my flings before we met in my Senior year at WVU and later got hitched, but I've never regretted it through 7 kids and some good times as well as rough times.

As bad *** as Stephanie Acevedo is (and she is smokin' Hot) she's not worth throwing all of that away with the one Woman who still looks as good to me now as she did back in 1979.

Besides, what would I tell my Grandkids? I'm dating their Auntie? (I have three daughters her age)
