Comey kept records of Trump conversations not Obama's

Was he there?

I am talking about any conversation he had with Lynch or Obama after this occurred. More importantly, I am talking about any conversation he had with Obama on any topic. Why keep records on one President and not another?

One didn't follow routine, appropriate channels? IDK. Write your Congressman and have him ask.

I don't have too. Comey has lied to Congress. He now says he kept records with Trump but not with Obama. Too convenient.

Good grief. It's right in the article you linked:

Comey said he only spoke with Obama twice during his presidency, but talked to Trump nine times within four months of his.

He explained why he documented the conversations he had with Trump.

“I felt compelled to document my first conversation with the President-Elect in a memo,” Comey writes. “To ensure accuracy, I began to type it on a laptop in an FBI vehicle outside Trump Tower the moment I walked out of the meeting. Creating written records immediately after one-on-one conversations with Mr. Trump was my practice from that point forward.”

“This had not been my practice in the past,” he continued. “I spoke alone with President Obama twice in person (and never on the phone) — once in 2015 to discuss law enforcement policy issues and a second time, briefly, for him to say goodbye in late 2016. In neither of those circumstances did I memorialize the discussions. I can recall nine one-on-one conversations with President Trump in four months — three in person and six on the phone.”

Why did he feel compelled to document Trump's conversation and not Obama's? Again, he lied before Congress. He felt compelled to document his very first meeting with Trump. Seems like a very strange double standard especially given Comey's lies before Congress.

HAHAHAHA. He asked Sessions to never let him be left alone again with trump. It sounds like a kid asking a parental figure to never be left alone again with a child molester.

Maybe you should ask Comey. I have a feeling we will find out tomorrow.

I don't think so. Comey has already been caught lying to Congress. How do you trust him not to lie again?

Well he certainly took it upon to himself to insist Hillary had no "intent" to break Federal Law. At least according to his famous "memo" he apparently took the same liberty to suggest Trump was asking him to call off the FBI hounds sniffing up Flynn's ***?

Guess it just comes down to how he "feels" about the Law instead of actual violations of it?

Maybe he just didn't see any intent behind keeping notes for the Hillary interview?

Here you go, Lemming.

It was the nature and frequency of the conversations. He spoke with Obama twice in private during hia whole tenure....and one of them was to say Good Bye the other was to discuss FBI practices.

Because he is secretly in the bag for the Ds. His announcing Hilary's extra email investigation 11 days before the election was a clever ruse. He knew that it would give him cover for being able to have an excuse for the eventual conversation he'd have 1x1 with Trump where he could pin Russia on him.

My God, because he was dealing with the pathology of Donald Trump and discussing matters that could land either one of them in Leavenworth. He wasnt wishing farewells and discussing FBI methodology.

You should probably explain to PATX when you are being sarcastic and when you're not. It gets lost on the poor fella.

Nice post, btw.

He was dealing with POTUS, elected by the people. Trump deserved the same treatment afforded Obama. Nice deflection from you first post where you missed the fact he took notes after their first meeting. The matters discussed at Trump Tower could not land either one in Leavenworth. Nice try.

I wonder if the FBI took notes during Hillary's interrogation? Of, we already know the answer, no.

So let's summarize this thread: some snowflakes are whining that an FBI Director, originally hired by a Republican, kept by a Democrat, kept by a Republican (at least for a few months) and then fired by said Republican with absolutely no respect (remember he found out about his firing by seeing it on television while he was speaking in California) made more notes in his meetings with the scumbag that fired him in an unprofessional manner than he made with the black guy. [laughing]

Yea, I don't even care about this one. There entities within my organization that I keep specific notes for record as well and others that i dont.

I do question why didn't keep notes from the Hillary interview. That's seems odd on the surface.

Of course not Pax, there wasn't any need to... since it had already been decided there was no "intent" on Hillary's part of any illegality why take any notes?

Everybody knows Democrats don't cheat, don't lie, don't break the law, don't spy on innocent Americans, and they don't try to steal primary elections from avowed Socialists.

Where have you been the past year?

So Comey took copious notes of Republicans but none of Democrats? Interesting!

He smelled obstruction of justice and just crazy on Trump and wanted to COA when the Commander in Tweet went on another psychotic episode. He wrote it among other officials to basically have his distance documented. Understand you are a true believer so feel free to stay in your lane. Just look in the mirror and think of how'd you'd be playing it if Clinton were president. Surely you'd be calling the allegations a farce I'm sure.

If Clinton were President you would be telling people how disrespectful it is to talk **** about the President. Dont be a hypocrite.
