There was a banner across the screen that read "Comey Says FBI Investing Trump-Russia Collusion" through much of Comey's and Rogers' testimony and when CNN cut away to their (giddy) panel.

You didn't see Obama's WH spokespersons do the same thing? The only difference I see between Spicer and previous WH spokespersons is Spice started out openly hostile to the media.
