We can only hope, it took him 18 months to move from Minneapolis to Chicago went he got this job. The Bears should be happy that he doesn’t have to move.

Hopefully they get a better replacement this time around.

It wouldn’t shock me. He’s an NFL guy and those NFL guys see the league as the only place to be. There’s more money and fewer people to answer to.

Except owners who want to win now . The NFL is the big boy league , but far more demanding

Between the complete yo-yoing pig-pile he created wrt COVID response - the intellectually-vacuous and utterly hypocritical "woke" (for lack of a more precise term) propaganda (including the so-called "alliance" stuff :) ) - and the lowest common denominator approach wrt adding UCLA (not as bad as Rutgers, but certainly not accretive to the conference) - and a media contract (despite the significantly over-hyped and inaccurate figures cited in the media) that will prove to be a significant undersell - would there be anything to "miss", if he moved on? Did he bring anything to the table?

But you have to admit that warren has had this.

Of course, the COVID response was all about player safety. 🥰

Can you please expand on your thoughts about the media contract and why it’s a significant undersell? Thanks

Warde Manuel and Gene Smith are the two with the proper "credentials"
Manuel has a lot to answer for WRT their hockey program, read that report and investigation. And Gene Smith would just be a status quo guy and would continue the crap that goes on in the B1G that benefits them and UM.

No, it needs to be someone who can position the B1G in this new age we are in and ensure that the conference is above board and not beholden to OSU and UM. That it's gone on for decades is dadgum enough, with apologies to Bobby Bowden. And someone who can tell the Domers to either put-up or shut-up, either join or we are going to cut all ties and bury you like Warden Rudolf Hazen wanted the cons treated in the second half of "The Longest Yard." (Glov would've liked to have seen that.)
