Word on Twitter that UK received a football commitment, as yet unknown, at practice this morning. Doubt the Ky media has much on it what with the stunning announcement that a basketball walk-on will be playing in something called the Derby Classic.

I won't argue with Justin on that one at all. This is one heckuva good pick-up! It is so nice to get commitments from recruits that schools like Tennessee are offering.

This dude is 6-4/235 and according to some sources runs a sub 4.6 forty. If that isn't stud JACK LB material, I don't know what could be.

Kentucky is tied with Oklahoma for the third-most 2017 commitments among Power Five schools. Only Miami, Ohio State have more.

Ummm, I don't know. Seems pretty "insubstantial" to me.

Quit showing off, you aren't the only one that learned a new word this week. LOL

Great deal, sounds like our growth might be accelerating. Can you imagine what this staff could do if we even broke even in the SEC, and I think that is coming------maybe not this year, but coming.

We already have 11 commits, and if we could add Wills now we would match our total of three four and one five star signing last year (our first 5*since they made them) with less than half the commits. And he is a definite, possibility, he should think joining the talent we already have on the OL would make for a great situation, and he already knows several of them.

Hopefully he is just taking advantage of the chance to see the country and take the perks, and I don't blame him for that. But he could give our class a big boost by committing early, and if we don't make a bowl game he could still back out, although you don't like to see that, he could even tell the coaches he wasn't 100% instead of misleading them. Of course that might mislead some recruits, but I don't think they would regret committing to UK in the long run.

And the coaches have already upgraded the OL talent, it looks like they are going to do the same at the other positions.

Very nice commit! After Richardson committed, Marrow eluded to a couple more looming. If this was one of those, then there could still be another coming soon. :sunglasses:

Marrow for president!

Agreed...he is a huge get not just because he's a talented kid. But we're sort of toothless in the 3-4 scheme without better edge rusher since Bud left (and it doesn't look like this year will be much better at rushing passer since Hatcher turned out to be a bust). This kid is massive to allowing UK to get pressure on passer w.o blitzing a ton.
