Local gun store had their 938’s on clearance. When I asked why I was told that model had been discontinued. That’s the extent of my knowledge

I got a Sig P365 SAS today...the site system is REALLY different, but I think I’m gonna like it. Never seen anything like it, but it makes sense and I think it’ll be an easy adjustment after some practice

Ended up just getting a cheaper holster to see how it feels and if it works well before investing in a more expensive one or one made from a different kind of material. Found this one on Amazon and it came with the extra magazine holder and a little tactical flashlight. Cost about $20. Gun fits it nicely. I will have to try and practice with unsnapping and drawing it.

Be careful. When I was stationed in Turkey, a fellow cop shot a mirror out practicing his quick draw.

You bring up a good point. Practicing at home requires no money nor ammo. You modern striker fired pistols infinitely without causing damage. Just leave your ammo in the other room. I suggest finding a good video of proper stance, thumbs forward grip, sight alignment, etc......and just practice, practice, practice. You can even sit there in front of the TV practicing mag changes, grip, breakdowns, etc just to familiarize yourself to make it second nature.

Then, by the time you get to the range you’ve trained a lot of mistakes out of you. Most of the mistakes when using a holster occur when you put the firearm back in the holster.....as long as your being smart and not putting your finger on the trigger till last on the second on the draw. And heaven forbid you ever have to use your firearm, you can take all the time in the world to holster it.

Anyone in here super knowledgeable abou Safariland holsters? I went on their site to see which one I needed for my fn509 and the 7385 was one of the options. I got on eBay and got one but my 509 slides right out of it

do they make different models of the 7385 for different pistols or is it universal? I don’t think it’s a fake but I guess that’s a possibility too since I got it off eBay

I don't go anywhere with out my Glock 9 on my hip and sometimes I have a .38 in my pocket as well. I live by the motto,'Better to have a gun and not need it, than to need it and not have one." In this day and time, I take no chances. I am usually with my wife and I will go to the end of the earth to protect her. That is my duty as a husband.

I’ve had my ccdw in KY for many years but it expires next year. Since KY changed the law, we don’t need it any more. Not sure i will renew, especially since I’d have to go to downtown Louisville to get it.

If you travel out of state you will need your code, other states are not constitutional carry but honor KY permit thru reciprocity.

No, I browsed their website one time and it left my head spinning.

I know they make 7385 for all different pistols.

I finally got a response from their fb page and apparently I have the version made for the HK p30. So I am in the market for one of those now

Do you conceal carry and if so what kind of holster do you prefer? Inside waistband, outside waistband, pocket, ankle or shoulder? Thinking about keeping my handgun with me when out in public with all of the craziness going on. Seems like outside waistband is the easiest but is harder to conceal. With inside waistband easier to conceal but might require clothing alterations. Those are the 2 I am considering and just curious with other's experiences.

Yes, I conceal carry, except when I go to work because it's prohibited. I like outer waistband personally, but I will do pockets. I wear baggier clothes anyway, so I can conceal pretty easily, but it depends on what I carry. I would love to add to my collection at home, but kinda hard right now. I have some ammo, but I never feel like I have enough, especially now. I encourage EVERY person to pack.

I love mine. Very comfortable, fairly adjustable, good price and holds the gun in properly. It can be hard to put in if you are in a hurry, but other than that I like it.

Got an alien gear IWB holster today heard they were the best anyone have experience with them good or bad?
I got one. Hard for me to get the damn thing on. It is comfortable once you get it on. As an older gent with a pot belly, I find it hard to carry IWB with any type holster. Have to buy pants or shorts at least a size bigger, if not two, so I just pocket carry.

Thanks for the feedback I have never had an IWB so figured I would give a shot. If I don’t like can always go back to pocket carry As well. I have a Glock 43 that’s smaller than the 43X that fits perfectly in my pocket.
