Very concerned about the lack of use of TK and Carter. Honestly they are probably the most dominate offense players we have. TK is always good for at least 3-5 yards and Carter is a TE any team would use repeatedly to catch passes. Why in the world are these dominate kids not used more? I just can't understand it. Would a reporter please ask Monty why they have not been used to dominate. I would love to hear his line of thinking.

True, and I find his thinking on this issue offensive as well.
TK has been getting more touches the last couple of games. Including being brought in for some short yardage situations.
I don't know this for sure, but I'm guessing Monty's hesitancy to use him more comes from his offensive philosophy that when we get that 1st down on 3rd and 1 we go up tempo afterwards and maybe TK isn't yet comfortable with the whole playbook when it's time to go up tempo again, and subbing him out would kill our momentum. And then you have people complaining that we're not staying on the gas pedal.
Now, Monty did bring him in on a short yardage situation against Memphis and kept him in during the drive for a while. The drive either stalled or he was subbed out eventually. I can't remember.

TK caught a touchdown pass against Memphis and had a rushing TD earlier this season. He was used as a run decoy in the end zone against Navy on the 99 yard TD that was called back. He's a really solid player who I've yet to see lose yardage on a play. I would double down on a guy like that instead of hesitate. Like someone else said on this board in another thread, he's vaguely reminiscent of Alex Singleton in years past, only TK is more agile and athletic whereas Alex was pure power. I'd hate Monty less if he used TK more and used Shamari less.
Singleton wasn't really pure power... He was more pure mass. Lots of weight to that kid. (6'1" 260). All he had to do was fall forward on the pile.
I would compare TK (6'2" 224) more to Zach Langer (6'0" 220) in terms of size and speed. (Though TK might have more skill than Langer did)
Everyone is comparing TK to Singleton but he's really not that guy. We honestly haven't had anyone like Singleton in a very long time.
Maybe Langer is a better comparison. I miss SIngleton. He was such an easy guy to cheer for when he'd have a big run or plow through the line for a 1 yd TD. And his family went to all the games!
I’d be more upset about the lack of play for TK if he wasn’t behind two really good backs. Also, got to remember that TK is still really green and learning how to do the small things like pass block. Not to mention that I think he’s on just about all the special teams units?
