Four of the first six at home, which is nice, and the final three games (vs. Rutgers, @PSU, vs. Nebraska) are very winnable. We also avoid trips to East Lansing and Madison. Still a tough schedule, especially in the middle, but not nearly as bad as it could have been.

Disappointing from a viewing perspective not to get games like Michigan, Indiana or Iowa at home, just because those have been pretty fun series of late. But this sets up pretty well for us.

I agree. They don't have a lot of marquee games, but it's an advantageous schedule with doubles vs. Nebraska, Minnesota, Ohio State, Penn State and Maryland.

One of the strange parts of getting used to 14 teams is that we used to track who the one-plays were. Everyone played almost everyone else twice. Now it's the other way around. The two-plays are the schedule makers and breakers.

While this does make the schedule easier, it won't help an RPI already weighed down by our non-conference schedule. Given how much talent we have coming back, you'd have to set 18 or 19 wins as a reasonable benchmark for the season (and at least 2 or 3 more than that for a Dance bid).

We'll be Dancing. And we'll be doing it in Boise. Mark my words.
