They didn't play particularly well, with 19 turnovers, but man they showed a LOT OF DESIRE AND HUSTLE out there and so did Collins on the bench. The team has not quit. It also helps when you make FREETHROWS down the stretch. What was Buie?, 10-for-10 and many in closing time.

Good to get a win, but they need to put a huge emphasis on cutting down on the turnovers If they want to win more games.

Yea, it's nice to get a win.

No really ... you're allowed to enjoy it for a while.

Yes, everything is far, far, far from perfect, but go ahead and try to enjoy a win.

Figures the one night I totally forgot about the game that they went on to win.

Seriously, good for them. I do feel terrible for the kids. A win - any win - is great for them!!

Really glad for the team. After such an extended losing streak, it would be easy to mentally lose the rest of the season, but these players are still competing. After going down 17 - 3 to start the game, it would be easy to lose concentration in this game, too, but it didn't happen. That's some good coaching.

MD up next in Evanston. Doesn't seem like NU has developed the home court advantage, but here's hoping they start now. Last game against UNL, NU should even be favored. Looking for some momentum heading into next season.
