I agree. I was as impressed with Crest last night as I was the first game. I just couldn't say that on here until our season was done. The only surprise for me was how well the defense played tonight.
#44 has been our best defender, and I think our best player this whole year. It's a d@Mn shame he's not playing a prominent position on offense this whole year. He languished on JV as a soph. last year, and should've been playing V at least halfway through the season.
Hopefully you Crest fans get to see the replay. You watch him, and you will have gotten your money's worth twice.
I was very impressed with #30. Dominating blocker.
Harbison runs hard. I like that he doesn't try to do too much, and is very patient.
QB throws a good ball. Your OL blocked great at times.
I still think you guys could have a dynamic offense. I harken back to Travis Lee at QB and that attack you used to have under different management. If you guys put THAT offensive style with this defense you'd definitely have a state championship this year. Defense was fast to the ball and gang tackled. Great hitting last night from both defenses. I 'm not sure if you have enough on that side to actually beat Havelock- but good luck.
Proud of the Raiders and their effort tonight.
