I think Drake will start. Harris should get plenty of time next year though.

Did he even play tonight? ST's maybe? Of course, that is why you go to Alabama, to compete for national titles and be in the mix every season you are there most likely.

I mean, it's better than getting 9 carries against Vandy. Didn't play much this year, but his time is coming and when it does, I bet it's on a great team with a world class offensive line that runs the ball a ton.

The kid will have some great memories and moments when his career is done. He will also be tied to the fabric of a tradition long after his playing days are over, and people thought he made a mistake. Pretty funny.

It's like a guy like Bledsoe or Cousins. They could have stayed home and had a forgettable year and nothing really worth remembering. They'd have been tied to nothing. They came here and are back every year and basically have a landing spot when they retire.

Good choice Damien.

Scarborough.

How many yards did Harris gain anyway. How many would he have gained at UK?
He gained as many as he would have here. Face it. We suck. He made the right choice for him. He comes here, good chance he's redshirted and plays behind boom last year anyway. He's at the gold standard of college football. Don't blame the kid for that. You sound like arky fans upset because Monk did the same thing. Happy for the kid. Let's move on, and just be proud he's from the state and hope one day kids don't have to leave the state to win at football.

Kenyan Drakes a senior. Harris and Scarborough will be a good backfield but unlike past backs that had significant carries before the star left a la Richardson with Ingram, Yeldon with Richardson, Henry with Yeldon, etc.

congrats. Look at it this way. He isn't better than Henry, or Boom Williams. He was going to sit regardless, now he has a title. Good for him. He had something like 160 yards and a TD this year. No problem with his choice but would have loved to had him here. He's gonna have to bst his but to play by the time he is a junior. And that's not including who they bring in from here on. Either way though, we could care less, he is there, good luck and congrats, I could care less. He would not have made a difference this year for us.

He quit returning kicks many games ago. Fumblitis.

There are plenty of walkons at Bama that contributed just as much as he did this season.

Dude gets a championship in his freshman year, and poised to be the next man up at RB.
Congrats to him and Alabama - we're not sore losers here! However, if he wanted to play, probably go high to the NFL and build legacy coming to UK would have been a great choice. He might PLAY two years at Bama. He should/would have played a lot more at UK. So, what did he contribute this year at Bama - was it that much more than he would have done here? Next few years at UK will have a heck of an offensive line in front of him and a pretty fair OC from what I can tell. Damian was afraid UK was going to fire Stoops IMO. He made a mistake - but if you are going to make a mistake - going to Bama is not the worst place to be for sure!

Go Big Blue!

Who? He won't see many more carries next year. Bo Scarborough will be starting by mid year. Kenyan Drake is listed as a senior but I could've swore he got Medical RS for Broken leg. I don't hate Alabama, but you already know the next year they'll have 2 more as big as most offensive linemen in high school. They are gold standard but something is sketchy about how big the RB's get. Look up Bo Scarborough while you're at it, he looks bigger than Henry in the arms and legs

Bo will start and have a chance at a heisman. The dude is a beast. He reminds me alot of Fournette.

Believe they have signed top back this year

Can't be mad at him for going to bama.. but hopefully he didn't over estimate his abilities..
They signed the number 1 back which is in the mode of lacy, tall, quick, and big. Harris was recruited over and will be every year at Bama.

I really don't think most of us feel that he made a bad choice by going to Bama, the fact that has most of us pissed is the manner in which he led Stoops and UK on. It has been stated by he himself that he knew he was going to Bama after the Iron Bowl but he continued to lead UK and Stoops on and that is why everyone is pissed at him. It is what it is, I personally feel that when he finally announced for Bama, that is what made that recruiting class fall apart. I may be wrong, but that is how I feel. I am often wrong, but never in doubt!

He lives the rest of his life as a champion now. Not a bad choice. Who knows how is career ends up, but sitting in year 1 at the position he plays is not a bad thing. The lifespan at that spot is very short and the less damage you take in college the better off you are.

He would be better off not getting a ton of carries. Aren't running backs out of the league faster than any other position? Especially feature backs that run it 30+ times a game. Have many recent Alabama running backs lasted very long in the NFL? I honestly don't know, but running it as much as Henry does isn't really a good thing.

I understand why he made the decision he did. I think most of us do. I also hope it works out well for him, but I'm not going to celebrate his success though as noted he's yet to actually do anything much but practice. Nor do I celebrate Alabama's victory because they are in the SEC. I'm a UK fan, and all I really think or care to hear about him is he didn't go to UK. If he has success and you choose to congratulate him then that's great, but really I'd be happy if we never had another post about him here. At least until he actually has some noteworthy success on the field.
