I don't blame him for where he went I just don't like how he played it.
Exactly. And who gets on this board to cheerlead for him? GOH with that nonsense. Someones that happy for him? Fine. Post it on THEIR board.

He gained as many as he would have here. Face it. We suck. He made the right choice for him. He comes here, good chance he's redshirted and plays behind boom last year anyway.
So again, Harris won't ever play much at Alabama (which means he isn't any good and wouldn't have played much at UK), but the level of butthurt by a big section of our fanbase towards him is still so high. Never has someone who is not that good (according to some on here, I have no idea where he will end up in 3+ years at Bama personally), been so hated for not choosing our school.
I have never seen anything like it. He's a kid living his dream playing football for his dream school with a shot of playing in the NFL if he develops. Why does the fact that he enjoyed his recruitment process while contemplating between being a home state hero or playing for a national powerhouse irk so many people? A lot of these kids have the same goal in mind, playing professionally, playing college football on Saturdays and graduating without debt. Some kids are good enough to play for Bama, Tennessee, Michigan, etc.. and choose to others choose not to and get more satisfaction out of rebuilding a program than getting championship rings. Whatever their choice, why hold it against them?So again, Harris won't ever play much at Alabama (which means he isn't any good and wouldn't have played much at UK), but the level of butthurt by a big section of our fanbase towards him is still so high. That explains it then.I think its because he told the UK coaches not to recruit any other RBs...and when he knew he was going to Bama (after the iron bowl), he still didn't inform UK coaches that maybe they should start looking elsewhere. A lot of high school kids show at least that much courtesy to coaches that they have built relationships with...Hell, a ton of kids from KY or kids that had dads play at KY chose elsewhere, left home, flipped commitments and the fanbase hasn't had any poor feelings towards them...Harris did it differently.
Yep - the iron bowl was Nov. 29...he committed publicly on January 9.That explains it then.
As GG said, he really strung UK out to hang on the recruiting front (led them to believe he was going to sign with UK when he knew he was going to Bama), and has said some very condescending and immature things about UK since signing with Alabama. Good for him for living his dream of playing for a national champion, but I do hope that he shows more maturity than he has in the last year or so.I have never seen anything like it. False. There are tons of players every year who dont choose UK. Everyone moves on. For whatever reason, some posters here want to keep rubbing this kid in our face. He didnt choose UK? I get it. I dont even blame him.
But....if you want to post about him, especially congratulating him, do it there.
He gained as many as he would have here. Face it. We suck. He made the right choice for him. He comes here, good chance he's redshirted and plays behind boom last year anyway. He's at the gold standard of college football. Don't blame the kid for that. You sound like arky fans upset because Monk did the same thing. Happy for the kid. Let's move on, and just be proud he's from the state and hope one day kids don't have to leave the state to win at football.
Ummmmmmmm Eddie lacy who is having the best pro career of all bama backs, was primary behind Richardson. Yeldon was behind lacy.Kenyan Drakes a senior. Harris and Scarborough will be a good backfield but unlike past backs that had significant carries before the star left a la Richardson with Ingram, Yeldon with Richardson, Henry with Yeldon, etc.

Dude gets a championship in his freshman year, and poised to be the next man up at RB.[/QUOTE. Eat it Harris.
Well that's stupid.I hope he has a career ending injury as karma for the ******** he did to Kentucky last year.
Are you joking? you think that's what makes you a champion? Then I'm a champion for being a fan a watching the wildcats win a championship.... Being a champion in life has nothing to do with playing sports...He lives the rest of his life as a champion now. Not a bad choice. Who knows how is career ends up, but sitting in year 1 at the position he plays is not a bad thing. The lifespan at that spot is very short and the less damage you take in college the better off you are.
Terrible and ignorant thing to say. Hopefully you are a poser trying to make UK fans look bad.I hope he has a career ending injury as karma for the ******** he did to Kentucky last year.

Watched their little scat back looking HS recruit, BJ Emmons, play in an all star game recently. Was not overly impressed, but the game seemed to be dominated by the DLine, as no RB really stood out as outstanding.
I hope he has a career ending injury as karma for the ******** he did to Kentucky last year.
