Was hoping to avoid the blowout. Knew going in the Ramblers were the better team just too much on both sides of the ball. You can really tell the difference between a team expecting to win and one happy to be there. Congrats to Loyola clearly the better team on their state championship.
So proud of the run my RedHawks made and proud to be a Marist grad, the program will continue to achieve good things with Dunne at the helm and maybe get a title of their own someday.

Marist was who we thought they were. A very good 5-4 team who would eventually reveal their flaws. Their side of the bracket broke their way. #23 seed and never had to play an elite team until today.

Tough watching all these running clocks. I think they said 5 of 8 games had them. Hopefully just a one off year.

HF was the only team that could compete with LA. GW would have been too one dimensional to beat Loyola. Congrats to the Ramblers.

Palatine was a very good team that competed just fine with the Ramblers. Marist had an off night. Congrats to both squads.

Congrats to the Ramblers.

Ironically, if 8A would have been seeded 1-16 with the North/South approach, LA would probably have played HF in the final. Glad CSN televised that quarterfinal game. It was by far the best playoff I game watched this year.

Comcast must be disgusted. Think about the prime time ratings HF vs Loyola would have received. I'm sure many casual football fans turned over to Stanford ND at halftime. All these games except 7a were a big disappointment. What will it take to seed these teams properly?

Absolutely! This game was embarrassing....Loyola was the best in the state this year - congrats to them.

Loyola Academy's 2015 team is one of the best I've ever seen. Period.

Thank you Redhawkalum.

Marist had an oustanding run and should be very proud of their accomplishments!

I've been a coach on the soph level for the last six years and I've seen a lot of great kids go through our program. I said it a few weeks ago and I'll say it again. This was by far the most humble, hard working, respectful collection of kids we've had...quality leadership throughout. They earned every bit of their success this season. From 2-7 frosh to 14-0 state champs. .We are incredibly proud them!

As a member of our 93' championship team, 92' and 91' teams, I will go on record and say that this year's team is by far the best LA team EVER and probably would've beat us by a similar score.

Congrats to Loyola. Wow. You stopped a high performance offense. Your DB's were all over every Marist WR. The D line had Skalitsky on the move most of the time. All around tough , tough defense. And great offense w control the entire night.

Marist went out on their shields...they gave their all. LA demonstrated what all for one ...one for all means.
