Congrats Virginia... while I despise watching you play, you've shown what's possible when a coach utilizes strategies that put his players in the best position to have success.

Thank God it's over is all I say to this...season ends when Duke loses, and it'll take til we tip off next season to start washing away yet another blown chance at a Title. Really feeling nauseated

Happy as hell for the Hoos! Bennett’s players bought into his system and stayed true to their style of play. We may have had the best player this year but UVA has had the best team the last few years! The ship is back in the ACC and the cheats aren’t the ones who brought it back! If I knew the words I would be signing the good old song!

Glad to see UVA win. Good coach with a productive system and great players!

The only calming factor for me while watching last night was we were 3-0 against these two teams.

UVA is for sure a worthy champion - they were one of the best two or three teams all year long. It is good to show the nation yet again who the best conference is.

But even so, they as much as any champion illustrate how valuable luck is in this tournament. They did not have to play a single 1 or 2 seed throughout their entire run, which is crazy. And they needed some absolute miracles along the way to close the deal. I have been hearing all my life how Duke gets all the calls, but I have never seen it actually come to fruition. I would love the whistle that UVA got throughout the tournament, that's for sure!

It is crazy to think that Duke's second round opponent - an 8 seed - had more projected NBA draft picks than any team UVA played, all the way through the finals:

I don't follow them all that closely. Any chance Guy or Jerome leave early? What about Hunter?

UVA was a great team- arguably the best all year. Crazy thing is they have only one Senior - Jack Salt. Will be interesting to see who stays and who goes. I hope Hunter, the PG from Lord of the Rings and Kyle Guy all declare for the NBA.

I'm happy for UVa, but having a team we're so familiar with win it when we were a viable championship contender stings a bit. It drives in our disappointment more. It's not as bad as 2017 b/c it's UVa, but still...

Hunter will leave for sure. He’s a lottery pick.

Jerome will be the interesting one. My gut says he stays, but he’s climbed draft boards and is now showing up in the first round on some.

With Guy, Jerome and Diakite back they’re a top five team....probably better.
