You guys actually resembled a basketball team. Great game, keep working hard, nothing is hand to you at this level.
After the first nine games, I never thought this coach could coach this team to play as well as they did last nite! Almost as bizarre as those first nine games were...
Basketball is fun to watch when the ball goes in. They still have major issues that probably won’t get fixed this year. All they have to do is play with that kind of effort. Once kids figure out the effort issue games will become more competitive.
I will admit I am a sucker for genuinely good people. I want him to succeed because he really is trying to do it the right way. I think he will just not this year. That is OK.
The crazy thing is if he fails it will be a disaster on the flip side if he wins watch out. I don’t think there is a middle ground with him. He really is a high risk-high reward kind of coach.

Go Cards! S/O Coach Payne and staff. I know it was somewhat early in the first half but when they were down 10-18, I thought they would fold like they have in previous games, but finally they fought back and dominated the rest of the way. It was great to see and I hope they continue this effort.
Right. The shooting they won't always be able to replicate every game but the effort they showed can definitely be if they want to and have learned anything from this game.

! It’s rare that a team shoots 52% from 3pt, and 54% fg especially this team.It feels like fools gold, but hopefully the effort continues
Western shot something like 65% in the 2nd half. Defense is still a major issue and the reality is they won’t shoot like this very often so yeah kind of a perfect storm.
