Not trying to be cruel here because I could stand to lose a few pounds myself, but Maryland had a player, I think she was a serving specialist who was quite large. You don't normally see volleyball players that heavy.

Yep I thought that Fri night too. Bad for her was the fact that she came in and served right into the middle of the net. She had one job, gonna be jeered for extra pounds and then lay an egg. Man I felt sorry for her.

Good news for her was she came back and redeemed herself and won game 2 with her serving.

I noticed we went to her back corner when we could on the attack. Maryland did the same with our freshman to moderate success.

The girl from Maryland also seemed like she was also the student manager because she would be getting the other girls water and towels. Kudos to her for doing what ever she can/needs to to be part of the team.
