Congratulations to Tarboro. 2 State Championships in the same year at that.
I'm not a MA fan but I was at the game against Mitchell and I believe it should have been obvious to anyone that was there that MA was clearly the superior team. Me and another coach calculated it up that MA was 3-4 touchdowns better than Mitchell. Based on what I saw in the game today I believe MA would have won the championship as well. We will never get to see it though. Never seen a team fall apart like that game against Mitchell.
Congrats to those Vikings! I so enjoy watching that Tarboro T in action ! Always been a fan of that offense and Coach Craddocks style of coaching those kids ! As I was watching today that #60 for Tarboro was a grown man as was #61 for Mitchell! Those young fellas Are straight up hog Mollies and we’re fun to watch

Congrats to y’all as well. Unfortunately one of my first memories of Tarboro football was going to the Shelby-Tarboro game in ‘98 with my dad and grandpa. Thankfully I don’t remember much about that night because i was only 4 years old haha. Y’all laid it on us.
Could JK Adkins pursue the South Iredell HC that is now open? He is from the area and his first HC job was at South Iredell 2005-2006.
Congratulations to Tarboro on #8!!! Definitely a great program over there and is one that many schools should try and emulate. Class act all over the place in wins and losses, which are very few lol. Congratulations also to Mitchell for being a state runner up and having another great season. There is no shame it that at all and the kids played their hearts out all game long.
Lots of respect around Tarboro for Wallace-Rose Hill as well.
Again, congrats to the staff, this was one of their best coaching jobs this year! They didn’t make any excuses, didn’t lower expectations, and they came away with another title.
Lost two of their top 4 players before the season even started, shutout by Rocky Mount to begin the year, only 25 varsity players for most of the year, outsized by most teams - and I never heard one excuse from anybody inside the program. They just kept getting better and did what Tarboro does….WIN. Hats off these group of players and coaches. Thanks for giving the people of Tarboro something to be proud of every year.

You could make an argument this might be the best job our coaching staff has ever done. To be as young as we were this season, lose two of our top players before the season even started, suffered a heartbreaking opening game loss to Rocky Mount, and we're outsized by basically every opponent we faced. It has been well documented by the tarboro posters on here this year that this team is not like the other teams we had. But I tell you what this team dug down deep and found a way.

Wasnt there, watched online. MA was clearly the more talented team, no disputing that but officiating aside there was a clear lack of discipline with the MA group that factored in as well. My biggest gripe though is you said MA would have beat Tarboro. No, they would've lost just like the last time they played Tarboro. Tarboro the advantage in the athlete and coaching depart.
With 365 days to go we will find out if Mount Airy is State Champions. Like I stated before Mount Airy will probably be seeded 1 in the West.
Also, congrats coach Andy H, our defensive coordinator, you did a wonderful job this year, young and undersized, but had our young men in the right position. After the game where we gave up 40, we really turned it around. Thanks for what you have done for our school !
