Reink may be a long shot to make the Pacers. Or just make a ton of long shots in the D League. Sam has a chance. I could see a team like the Suns deciding to bring in a high energy, good for the locker room guy like Sam.

Side notes: Latrell Wrightsell Jr. got signed by Charlotte. He had a nice career at Alabama. Josh Dix went to OKC. William Kyle III signed with the Lakers. Nice to see local talent doing so well.

He might make a roster but he is not going to play...but at that point who cares...just collect those checks.

Nice. Any time in the NBA will be beneficial to Sam as he pursues a broadcasting or coaching career.
I’m not sure how signing as an UDFA affects his ability to pick where he wanted to play overseas or if that is even an option for him. Guys like him are a dime a dozen in Europe. A friend’s kid got drafted and signed by the Celtics in the 2nd round and they controlled where he could play overseas for years.
