Maybe it's time to start holding these public universities accountable for their shady predatory lending practices. They pump up these students with false hopes of a great career with useless college degrees. I don't feel sorry for any educated idiots, especially society's useless "progressive" parasites.
The people I respect are the ones who get respectable degrees, go on to good careers and take full responsibility in paying off their debts.

The colleges don't do predatory lending.
The yearly cost when I went to OU was something around $4k. Now with tuition and fee increases plus the outrageous cost of books, etc, it is about $26k. There is a big difference between graduating w/$16k in loans and $100k-$110k in loans. This happened b/c the government stopped paying for a large part of higher education.
It sounds like you are more upset with someone like a teacher making $45k per year who is asking for $20k of their $80k loan to be forgiven than you are a multi-millionaire congressman or congresswoman asking to have all of their $100,000 or more loan forgiven. Surely that is not the case.

When I was at OU my cost was $6.00 per hour plus room and board. Overall it cost me around $300 per semester not in including r & b.

The point of the list is that the people on the list are against any student loan forgiveness yet have filed to get their personal ppp loan forgiven.

It's really sad that the schools and government made people get these loans. They had absolutely no free will and were literally held down and made to sign.

Hello! It's not about taking PPP loans. It's about Republican lawmakers whose millions of dollar loans were forgiven and then they turn around and oppose student loan forgiveness. I guess FAIRNESS has become a bad word in America.
So, when the corporations, the wealthy and congressmen took out business loans and turned around and made laws that forgave those loans, that's okay. They signed for the loans and should have refused the loan forgiveness. They should have paid their bills, just like with your superflous righteous indignation, you're telling people to pay their student loans. If those charlatans think that their loans should be forgiven, why are they against student loan forgiveness.
Of course you're not going to list the Democrats who bilked the taxpayers out of millions in forgiven loans. I'm actually glad you didn't. It exposes you further as nothing more than a party-hack mouthpiece.

The dems didn't oppose student loan forgiveness. They believe that what's good for the goose is good for the gander. They believe that if those bozos got relief for their loans, so should those with student loans and that's simple enough for you to understand. So stop the whataboutism. What about all the citizens that take out loans to establish a business. Loans that take years and years to pay back. I don't want my tax money to go pay off long haired radicals student loans. There is no reason for it when so many have loans for business, etc. and don't receive any help.
