I would agree. This team needs an inside presence to force teams to defend the entire floor and not the 3 point line.

Not unless a lot of teams lose in front of us. I would prefer to stay out of top 25 as the players start reading their headlines and would lose what little focus they have.
2 players down or not it was a good win and one that was needed, even if they had those 2 players it wouldn't have helped their 3 for 21 from 3.

All I'm saying is that it is not a disappointment like limping past a piss poor team you should easily beat by double digits and its also not like upsetting a top 10 Kansas level program either. It is not a game WVU should be super surprised or super pumped about winning nor one that WVU should be disappointed wasn't a crushing victory.

Ugly wins beat pretty losses every time, but you and I both know its not so black and white. Some wins, especially if there are more than a one off, are ugly against teams that should be easily handled it raises concerns for whether the problems are fixable before the meat of the conference schedule comes. You want to see a team easily handle a mildly depleted UConn level program at home in December if you hope the team has a chance of withstanding those 4-6 game runs against top 25 and/or tournament bound teams in January/February
