IC baseball community,

So glad we have all made this lovely transition over to On3! That being said, fall is upon us, I know as college football dominates my calendar and classes have already started to become difficult. As we start planning for the Fall and the Spring I would love y'alls thoughts on what sort of baseball content you would like to see. I have a few ideas already but would like to get the wider communities input. Speaking for both Tommy and myself we have loved all of the support and engagement this past year and can't wait for another great one. Thanks!

I’d love a story or conversation on how the new roster/scholarship rules are changing (or not) the way fall is being approached by the coaching staff. Also features on new arrivals to the program, which I’m sure you’re planning anyway.

Some position specific intelligence would be very interesting. What can the pitchers do? There was a major loss on the mound after last season.

Then what is the offense able to do? UNC of late has had excellent, if streaky, hitting.

Then what fielders seem particularly capaable. It is always hard to repeat when you have a successful team.

I hope you had a great summer, Grace! I’m already ready for baseball to start! I honestly thought that last year was going to be a rebuilding year because of how much we lost the year before, but I’m so glad I was wrong. I know a lot of that has to do with the fact that we have the best coaching staff in the country though. Like another poster mentioned up above, I wouldn’t mind learning more about our new players. What are Owen Hull’s strengths compared to Kane’s? Same with Paulsen and Hunter, etc. Also, other than Ryan, Walker, Perry, Camron, Sawyer and possibly Lee, are there any other rising sophomores that we might be able to see a big jump from? I’m really looking forward to all of the baseball coverage!
