Saw a report that Brohm's Purdue buyout amount is reduced by a million dollars on December 5, 2018. If that is true maybe a deal to coach UL comes afterwards.

That is a lot of money just to move the hiring up one week.

Any thoughts?

I don't see Purdue allowing it to go that long and I'm certain Brohm doesn't want it to either.

Cant wait that long, need to start recruiting NOW. 1M aint that much when talking the overall contract.

That would be horrible for recruiting, and getting things going. UK fan here, but also a Brohm fan. We grew up in the same area, and I've enjoyed watching his success.

I understand saving money, but two thoughts: time lost is much more valuable than that, and (not to be snide) it's a small amount in the grand scheme of all the other money woes for the athletic department. Good luck.
