I’m sure most of ya’ll will disagree, but I love Long’s energy and enthusiasm behind the plate.

If we had 9 guys on the field with his confidence, we’d be leading the SEC right now.

Ya’ll shıt on him for his play against UGA, but I’d take 10 guys with his attitude and enthusiasm all day every day.

Dude is a liability in every way. Most unlikely cult hero for some of our fans I can imagine. BTW, we responded so well to his "competitiveness and enthusiasm" that we went 0-2 in the game he got kicked out of and the game he should have been kicked out of. Great leader.

His over the top BS against Georgia took our chances of winning that game from better than 50% to less than 10%.

With a leader like that...

Long would be fine if we had Cohen coaching, or similar. Lemonis' soft culture doesn't do a good job of forcing players to mature. He's said it plenty of times, he's worried they will transfer if he gets mad at them. Got to get rid of that BS.

Nah. Regardless of attitude, and no matter who the coach is, he just doesn’t have SEC talent. He didn’t even start at Pitt. And we’d barely know who he is if our starting catcher wasn’t out for the year.

If we had 9 hyperemotional guys batting .250 we'd be leading the SEC? I see enthusiasm from other guys. We're not lacking in energy and enthusiasm. It's talent and no amount of enthusiasm and energy will suddenly improve limited talent and depth and move us to the top of the SEC. It's not pro wrestling.

He's slugging .284 and is 0 fer 12 throwing out baserunners. You can't be a fiery, passionate leader if you are the worst player on the field. Acting like that without solid play to back it up just makes you an ásshole.

For those of you that are gamers, he’s the guy that talks **** the whole game and sends you DMs and then at the end of the round you go look and he’s at or near the bottom of the scoreboard.

I don't follow our baseball team at all, so I have no idea who this guy is.

I think I'll keep it that way.
