From my perspective, the OU win over the Huskers was bittersweet, but I'm glad we beat them. I saw the Sooners trying to get their rhythm going, but played well enough to win. When was the last time OU beat Nebraska, but fell in the AP poll? That says as much about Nebraska as it does Oklahoma.
Yet reading what some of their fans are saying and what some sportswriters are saying, the OU game was the turning point for this Nebraska program. So many references are being made to the Oklahoma game when looking forward to MSU. One commentator even used the term, "The worm has turned".
Supposedly, about half of the Husker crowd think they are going to East Lansing tonight and beat Michigan State. I tend to side with the other half with "Tap the brakes on the enthusiasm". Their fight against an unimpressive OU, wasn't that impressive.
What do you think happens with Nebraska / Michigan State tonight?
