Cats have covered both times they were underdogs by double digits. Having said that, the coaching change for Wisconsin makes this a game that is very hard to handicap.

Agree...How the heck will UW respond ? Guess is they will be really emotional, especially if it is a UW crowd...overally aggressive on defense...will try and smash the ball up the gut with their running backs...never know what assistant coaches have been wanting to try and now the head guy is gone....on the other hand there has not been much time for UW to change things....change could have created worse preparation !!!!! We need to re-establish the run...The last two games we have not ran it well....Was Rowley that much of a loss? Go Cats

To my knowledge the line hasn't moved from opening at -9.5.

I think this is a capable Wisconsin team. On paper there's no reason to pick Northwestern in this one, other than maybe possibly to cover. We are a bad team in all four phases of the game (incl. coaching).

Wisconsin lost to Illinois because they couldn't run the ball whatsoever against the tough Illinois defense and Mertz is mediocre at QB.

The Badgers also were -3 in turnovers.

Wisconsin is not a good team, but they will certainly move the ball against NU. They're also good enough defensively to hold the NU offense down.

Probably gonna be something like 35-10. Or, to put it another way, we will have to play quite well and Wisconsin quite poorly in order for us to win.

If we lose to these guys 35-10 there should be immediate firings of multiple coaches right after the game(I know that will never happen).
