Lots of UK fans would.

I wonder how many Bama fans would even pay much attention, they already have three of their four deep coming back and a four AND five star enrolling early------the five star sounds like a beast, 6' 2" 232# with a 4.5 forty.

Eleven days!

Glad to see him following bb, which is a plus for us IMO, football AND bb a big part of my entertainment while at UK. The basketball success shows that teams can be successful at UK WITH SUPPORT, and now UK is serious about football------finally.

Come be a hero and part of the building of a great football program also.

I just read an interesting fact from a prediction on the Under Armour Bowl link in another thread which emphasizes my point, the article said that Bama had really turned up the heat on Damien since their NUMBER ONE CHOICE, Patrick, had chosen FSU.

So he wasn't even Bama's #1 choice in this class alone, Patrick is the #3 rated RB and is a jumbo back, 6' 3" and 233#, so it seems they prefer more of a jumbo back type, and they already have one five star 6' 2" 232# RB enrolling in this class with a spring training advantage, and doubtless will add another RB or two in the 16 class (had FOUR 6.0s in the 13 class, including another monster), sounds like Harris would just be another nice backup plan at Bama that may or may not be their star.

Come to UK and be a hero.

Believe it or not, Bama fans would pay attention to him. The common thought outsiders have is that Bama fans don't appreciate the 5-star players that commit to their school, even though that isn't the case at all. They have no idea what they're talking about. We get a bad rap for that, unfortunately, yet no one mentions that about teams like FSU or LSU that tend to bring in multiple 5-star recruits. Heck, no one even said that about USC during the last decade or Florida during the UM years.

8 days!

The future is almost here.

I hope he brightens it a whole bunch for UK, fully capable of doing it.

He would even help Bama some.

Damien would be a fan favorite and could play as soon as he wanted. I wonder if he like Eli Brown would prefer to redshirt his first year? It would certainly be his choice . I know Coach Stoops would treat him like a son. He sincerely likes Damien as a fine young Ky man. I also think Damien would be a role model to a lot of younger smaller school kids. He would be a John Wall type

He really wouldn't need to RS. He has the talent and strength to play immediately, he just needs to learn the plays.

When you redshirt a RB, if he is any good, he will be gone after his soph year. You will only have him for 2 seasons, my guess is you you mentioned RS to him you get marked off the list.

Well some kids want the redshirt like Eli and his family. He was only going to UK if they agreed to red shirt him. We could use him next year but he wants to mature and get a year if school in first. I think that is smart for him. Needs some weight to lb in the SEC. Not sure if Damien has a preference but my point is he would be able to make that decision.
