Thank you again.
Well, the NCAA had some bad rules and decisions, so that must mean every rule and decision they’ve made is flawless.” Bold strategy. Meanwhile, the courts are over here striking down their NIL setup because, you know, antitrust violations are kind of a big deal. Keep cheering for the status quo, though.Thought process: well the NCAA had some bad rules and decisions over the years so that means every rule and decision by the NCAA is bad.
Critical thinking is extinct. I weep for our culture.
I saw it too. He looked and sounded like a total DA.Well after watching the testimony of the NCAA president on Capitol Hill, it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that we are in the mess we are in. It all makes sense now.
Senator Kennedy said he was missing a spine. I think he was missing more than that. As I said, it all makes sense now. These clowns in the NCAA are have no business making decisions... guess that's why they dont. Just collecting checks. That is the problem with college footballI saw it too. He looked and sounded like a total DA.
So true. It's okay to say I don't understand the legal ins and outs of these rulings. However, instead we have people interpreting anti-trust law based on an article they read or weeping for the culture when these rulings have nothing to do with culture. The law is not based on your feelings. Finally, the funny thing is the same people complaining are the people that voted for Donald Trump. Donald Trump nominated 3 of the votes that resulted in these rulings. You got what you wanted. Now, you have to live with it.
SCOTUS made the right decision regardless who the justices were. It was unanimous. Not arguing I’m just adding to your point. So true. I recognize that they were. However, I have been on these boards long enough to know the political leanings of posters. My point is that it is the Conservative Leaning Wing of the Court that voted against the NCAA as well. So, why can't we all agree that they had a flawed model and a new one has to be built through Collective Bargaining or through legislative means.SCOTUS made the right decision regardless who the justices were. I agree but it will take both in the last sentence. The CBA is to get around anti trust laws and requires a waiver from congress.I recognize that they were. Correct. It was a clear violation of antitrust laws.SCOTUS made the right decision regardless who the justices were. It was unanimous. Not arguing I’m just adding to your point.
