I didn't read it closely, but it looks like that death rates are higher for unvaxxed, but you catch it more easily if you're vaxxed.
Kind of a Catch 22 (if i read that correctly)... hardly worth mandating a vaxx (especially if you already have antibodies).

Florida has had the 7th most cases per capita, as shown on the link I provided.
Yeah CDC data shows the six states worse than Florida since 1/21/20.

Look, I agree with a lot of what you say, but comparing snapshots in time on "rates" of infection is foolish.
Of course florida is dropping. Everybody has gotten covid or is vaccinated.
The better way to examine the stats is to look at the overall infection and overall death rate since the start of the pandemic.
The reason states with low vax rates had bigger issues with covid since the summer is because we had less immunity in our populations. It's just a reality. it doesn't mean we are dumber or stupid. It just means we had less immunity. Natural or through vaccines. It's a virus. That's how it works. Nothing stops it but immunity or completely shutting down. These half *** shutdowns don't work.
Florida has a very high infection rate for several reasons.
A. Senior population - more likely to develop symptoms and/or die
B. Transient state. hard to contain the virus when so many people come to your state.
C. In younger populations they have a low vaccination rate. Overall vax rate is ok. But that's centralized in the senior population.
