Oh good, someone else who doesn't understand natural selection.

I hope someone at some point looks at the "science" of "herd immunity" before they post about it or draw cartoons. If there is such a thing as "herd immunity at 70%" then some mental midget should look at exposing the healthy people to the virus and isolating the immune compromised. THERE IS A 99.92% survival rate for those without serious comorbidities.
Perhaps someone who understands the science like the guy who tweeted it, Dr. Eric Ding?

The manufacturers have admitted the shots don't prevent you from getting c19 (IMMUNITY). They said they don't prevent you from dying from it. They said they don't prevent you from transmitting it. So wtf is the point?

There is no such thing as herd immunity for this virus while they are administering experimental "vaccinations"... We either get people to their optimum health or they will succumb to something whether it's flu, c19, pneumonia, etc. We could also use antivirals to treat people before their symptoms get severe, like Tulsi Gabbard's husband was. They said it saved his life.

Back to your regularly scheduled scribbles...
And if they did guarantee it to always keep you live and you died after the shot, even if you were one in ten million wouldn't you have a hell of a lawsuit? Even if it was hard to prove that was the cause of death?

Got my second dose yesterday. I mentioned several days ago about my boss having covid. Been in the hospital the past few days and will likely be there for a few more. He sent a group text saying he had no idea covid could be so devastating. Um, okay. His plan was for everyone around him to get vaccinated so he wouldn't have to.

I know I'm going to be called a whiny ***** and all that but I do have one complaint. Since I'm going to have to show compliance (which I know I will) why couldn't they make the vaccine cards wallet size?
I would like to reiterate this about 1,000 times.

Laminate it and wear it around your neck.

Seriously though, you’re right. It should be the size of a business card.

I am very pleased that we have abruptly shifted into what I believed was the best solution: remove the restrictions totally so the vaccinated people can get back to as normal as possible leaving the anti-vaxxers and the Covid deniers to take the full brunt of the virus as a reward for their idiocy.

Think Covid is no worse than a cold and you don't need a shot? Ok, we're going to go back to normal and thus dramatically increase your likelihood of testing your theories very intimately on a ventilator near you. Have at it. We're moving on.

DGD, near-17, got first shot yesterday. Says arm hurts a bit today. She tested + back in January. Going to be a kids camp counsellor in several weeks & they want them all to be vaxxed.

I find it funny that people who want to force me to get vaccinated to protect them are also the same people who want to force me to give up all of my guns so I can't protect myself. So your safety and protection matters but mine doesn't?

Of course they are also the ones who shout that people should get vaccinated so innocent people won't die from their actions but then support abortion so......

You know many states have done exactly this for over a year now. The results are real, and the science is settled.

I'm glad you're now happy with what the TV is telling you.

I learned this on the TV the other day...First, I need to do my part. I need to do the right thing. In that same exact covid news segment, I learned that UK got a huge research grant to study the moderna vaccine and hopefully find out IF IT FN WORKS. Yes, they don't even know what this moderna vaccine does or doesn't do...outside of "reduce symptons"....which is what a healthy diet and vitamins will do for you. Specifically, with this bazillion dollar grant, UK is trying to figure out if the vaxx'd can infect the non-vaxx'd. ..

Can anyone tell me what the point is?

Breathe deeply my unvaccinated fools. Fill your lungs in the most crowded stores and restaurants you can find. COVID is no worse than a cold. Challenge it with your bold fearlessness. Dare it to infect you as you inhale all around you defiantly demonstrating your bravery.

The faster we speed up Darwanism the better off we all are. Encourage this self-selection. Feed them to themselves. This is a sublime opportunity to thin the herd and the deniers are presenting us with the perfect opportunity to finally be rid of their miserable existence.

Throw open the doors and watch them walk to their doom.

Had Covid a few weeks ago. Moderate cold type symptoms. Lost my taste and smell for a couple weeks. Otherwise, nothing major for me. I check many high risk boxes as well. I’m just fine and no longer need the Vax, at least for a while.

Why do so many Libs associate Covid as a guaranteed one way ticket to a ventilator? Obviously, not everyone had a similar experience as me. Particular elderly individuals. However, many people don’t even have upper respiratory symptoms at all. Follow the science.

You bring up an interesting question. There was a recent poll in which respondents were asked to estimate the percentage of "Covid" cases which result in hospitalization. The correct answer is 1% to 5%- as it impossible to know the exact answer, when the majority of cases do not even result in positive tests. 41% of Democrats believe that over 50% of cases result in hospitalization, and another 28% believed that it was over 20%. The Republicans only did marginally better but the poll did not break the percentage down between Democrats who are progressive and those who are not. I suspect that the "woke" Democrats with masks on their Facebook pages would have guessed that 90% of cases result in hospitalization and at least half result in death. They're really that stupid.

For most people, not geriatric (and terrified) idiots like you, it is actually is a cold. For about 50% of the population it's a cold, or even less, as about a third of cases have NO symptoms at all. For another 45%, it's an awful flu. For about 1% to 5% of the population who catches it, it's hospitalization. For about .4%, it's death. Are you one of those liberals that is convinced that "Covid" has a 50% hospitalization rate? Science!

Because the dumbass anti-science people are largely why we’re in the position we’ve been in for well over a year now.
Agreed. It's the dumbass anti-science progressives such as yourself that wildly overestimated the risks and created all the panic who created all of this misery. What about, nearly 50% of Democrats thinking that this has a near 50% hospitalization rate, when it's actually 1% to 5%?

If you don't want it, don't get it. If you have no interest in getting it, why are you in a thread for people who now have an extra layer of protection against covid? No one is trying to force you to take it. It's not like a masked crowd is waiting outside your home to kidnap you and drag you to the nearest Walgreens Pharmacy. I'm also not sure why you decided to bring up guns and abortion in a Covid shot experience thread. Get the shot, don't get the shot. Doesn't make a bit of difference to any of us here. None of us care about your personal political views on other subjects.

It seems a few just want to argue with people who have been vaccinated at this point, which I don't get. We did our part to help end this ****** situation.

The evidence is fairly strong that it was leaked from a lab in Wuhan. There must be a thorough investigation to determine if any Americans funded this lab and the experiments that took place there. We deserve answers.
Actually there is no evidence that it was leaked from a lab in Wuhan. You should stop getting your news from Infowars and Facebook comment sections.

First, I came into this thread to read others experiences because I am considering getting the vaccine and wanted to get first hand stories of any side effects they may have had. I didn't say anything negative toward anyone who has gotten the vaccine just the hypocrites who only think their view is the correct view and don't care to look at anything from anyone elses view. Sorry if that set you off. You really may want to look into some anger management classes though.

If you are vaccinated, why do you care if someone else is not? Aren't you protected against unvaccinated people? Or does your vaccine not work
This is so stupid. Non-vaxxed DA's can spread virus amongst themselves. That hurts us all in cost resources to deal with w/o just cause. Thus clearly nv's don't give an ish about anyone but themselves. They're a pox on society.

Nice projection at the end. I'm pretty happy. Got the vaccine and had no side effects with either dose. Doing my part as they say. Again, no one is forcing you to get it and I'm not sure why you brought up guns and abortion in a vaccine experience thread. If you'd like to talk about political issues like guns and abortion, there's a thread for that which you already know about. Your post was just passive aggressive and now you're claiming I'm the angry one lol. Make whatever decision you're comfortable with.

Nope not trying to be passive aggressive just pointing out hypocrisy but then again sometimes hypocrites don't even realize they are being hypocrites.

Getting back to the discussion at hand which shot did you get?

Moderna, Second dose last Wed. Sore arm with both shots for a couple days but that's it. The pharmacy at Walgreens wanted me to hang around for 15 min. after the first dose incase there was an allergic reaction. With the second, I didn't need to. I was in and out.
