Man, after 3.5 years I finally got Covid and it sucked as much as everyone says. 2 weeks later and I'm still congested, foggy, and nothing tastes good (that's the worst part).
My buddy that I split a hotel room with tested positive and then told me immediately so I was able to isolate from the fam. Worth it.

My first test was negative, so it's worth doing it multiple times. Second was positive but the second line was pretty light. Kind of hard to tell at first.

Four additional Covid tests are available to be ordered.

Eight are available if you haven’t ordered recently.

Be safe for you, your families, your friends and everyone else!

Good information. Thanks for posting.
Just looked at my test kits and they’re expired beyond the extension date. 😳

They have extended the expiration dates on many of the home kits . You’ll have to Google what you have on hand .

that's true. instead of using Google, you can check any kits (regarding whether or not the expiration date has been extended) at:

Yes, thank you.
I checked and they are expired beyond the extension date. Looks like it was only extended ~4 months.

Hang in there. Had it at the end of May. It took me three months to shake the upper respiratory congestion.

Really, this is still at thing.
It is. My cousin called the other day and said that his wife had just tested positive, and she wouldn’t be coming to our place for Thanksgiving. He and his kids still planned to come but cancelled this morning, youngest tested positive.

I guess I have never used tests to tell me that I am not feeling well and should stay home, take some Nyquil and rest.

Covid is no fun. But I would rank it 4th in discomfort behind the flu, strep throat and upper respiratory infections.

In my own experience, when I caught Covid I felt only a little off. No cough, no aches, no flu-symptoms, nothing. If it wasn’t in the middle of the pandemic, I probably wouldn’t have bothered testing. Supposing I had felt this way yesterday, Monday, then I would have thought I’d feel better enough by Thursday to go to a Thanksgiving dinner. Nowadays you test yourself and if it’s positive you stay out of people’s way for a week.

Varies with individual. One of my sons had it twice, no big deal. His fiancee had serious respiratory discomfort ran a fever and had aches and pains for 3-4 days. Then she felt wiped out for months afterward and tested both positive and negative until it finally passed.

Such a weird thing... my wife got it and had a decent case of it. Who knows where she picked it up although when the snowbirds hit a few weeks ago they have all been here coughing non stop in all the stores. I slept next to the wife for 2 weeks and did not get it. I have had it twice...

Stayed with my buddy in Vegas for 4 days and he go it. If my friend hadn't taken a test and told me right away that he was positive, I would have likely brought it home to my wife and kid. I isolated myself to avoid that. My kid had a state championship soccer game 5 days later. Maybe she would have been fine, maybe not, but the covid test made sure that she was (they won).

It is baffling to me that someone wouldn't do something as simple as take a 5 minute test when feeling crappy to make sure that their family doesn't have to deal with it.

They’re making a statement…mostly that they don’t give a sh*t about others.
