CPC Week 5

This week has us at the half way point of the football season. This season has had its up and downs this year already.

Richmond County @ West Forsyth: This game should be running clock early. West by 35

Lake Norman @ Reagan: Could possibly be the game of the week easily. Lake Norman by 28

Mount Tabor @ Northwest Guilford: Both teams are winless on the season, but Mount Tabor wins this by 14

Parkland @ Atkins: Parkland wins by 21

Ballantyne Ridge @ Reynolds: Reynolds wins going away by 28

East Forsyth at Mooresville: Mooresville by 14

Mooresville might can pull off a win vs East Forsyth. Or might give East Forsyrh a run for their money.

Reagan vs Lake Norman could be a game that could go either way 38-34.

MT Tabor needs to get into the win column.

Lake Norman by 28???? That seems like a stretch. I could see maybe a 2 TD favorite, but 4?

East and Mooresville game could be very close. Mooresville plays better at home and I do believe they have the athletes to match up with EF. If I’m East get the game over in the next 1st half. The longer Mooresville hangs around they could be in a dog fight.

Lake Norman vs Reagan will be interesting. I think Reagan line play on both sides will determine the outcome. Reagan has a very underrated secondary. Should be the best Lake Norman sees all year.

West Forsyth over Richmond- Close Game… Best Offense in the CPC, they are averaging 43pts a game with an elite passing game! The defending CPC Champs are my favorite to win it again.

Lake Norman over Reagan- Close Game
Mt. Tabor over Northwest Guilford
Parkland over Adkins
RJ Reynolds over Ballantyne
East Forsyth- Best Defense in the CPC, they have only given up 27pts in 4 games and held Grimsley to 13pts.

Note: Reagan is the conference favorite by the media and probably the most balanced team with the 2nd best defense & 2nd best Offense. A win over Lake Norman would be huge…that Reagan defense vs LN offense. Something has to give….
