Do you know if they plan on doing this for every CPS team or just those eligible for the state playoffs? I can't imagine them being able to play a weekend's worth of games on Wednesday.

depends on how long a strike would last, this could play havoc into seedings and the playoff format.

Would the IHSA even put a playoff qualifying team into the playoffs if CPS is on strike on Selection Saturday with the potential of a first round forfeit.

Also, what are the rules around mandatory practices during game week. I believe in a previous strike situation in Elgin, when a strike was ended on Wendesday night, game were still not allowed to be played because of lack of practice time.

One year IHSA put Marshall Illinois in the playoffs and Marshall told them the strike wouldn’t end so they wouldn’t play.I can’t recall who was the first team out that got screwed but they were madder than hell
