Looks like I need to head to SC! I can't imagine what you'll have if we go 34-0 or 40-0! I have some pappy 21 waiting for me in Indy per a buddy. Looking forward to that.

reece's peanut butter cup. mmm...

but my question is (and i'm assuming that the OR bit is for Oregon? if not, ignore the following) how can you be in/from the beer capitol of the world and not drink a ton of beer?

and by the way, folks, yes. the Pacific Northwest is the beer capitol of the world. there is a larger selection and variety of beer here than anywhere else that humans live.

DCFSEATTLE, I'm from Oak Ridge, TN. Dad and brother make up for my low beer count.

What are you going to do if we win the SEC, then the NCAA? Hmm, I may have to splurge on some good champagne.....

I have over 140 bottles of good bourbon in my collection, so plenty of options. Most likely I'll go to the really good stuff...yes, there is better than Pappy.

Four Roses limited editions and EH Taylor Sour Mash, as well as Van Winkle Rye will most definitely be on the table if we win it all!!

i keep a bottle of Makers Mark, Bulleit (used to be knob creek until Jim Beam sold to the japanese), Kraken spiced rum, and whatever tequila the woman likes.
i can't even begin to imagine what 140 bottles must look like, or even the cabinet needed to contain it.

outside a bar, that is.

After going through my divorce a couple of months ago, I had to sell off 60+ unopened - some of which I've had in the bunker for years and are literally impossible to find except at international auctions or deep on secret Facebook bourbon groups (for way too much money!). The only reason that I still have 140 is because they were all opened, and no way to sell them.

No matter, Bulleit is still excellent and is on my shelf as well, as is Rock Hill Farms which someone above mentioned. Another awesome sipper is Elmer T. Lee (Commemorative). Speaking of Elmer...I think I'll pour one now!

I'm a bourbon guy, but today I remembered a BLue Chimay beer fifth that my daughter had given me for .christmas, that was in the backup refrig. I had that with some home grown pulled pork, roasted zucchini and roasted little taters. My Gator buddy came over and and he had his usual Bud.
Those damn monks make a fine beer.
Relaxing now with some Woodfoed Reserve single barrel and watching UL vs UVA.
Go Cats.

Maybe I'll just take an expensive bottle of red wine, expensive bottle of brandy, and pure grain and make some "couch burning" sangria.

140 bottles are impressive, sorry to hear you had to divest due to your ex. Shifty thing to do.

So your wife bent you over so bad in the divorce it forced you to part ways with a good portion of that epic bourbon collection?.. I see why you divorced her.

No seriously that's still an impressive collection!

My wife brought home a bottle of Woodford Double Oaked for me on Thursday evening. It is for the NCAA tournament though and will not be opened until then. I did have a Woodford Double Oaked on the rocks at the Bigg Blue Martini after the game today.
