You'll be disappointed if your buddy has Pappy 21 waiting for you. Now if he has Pappy 20 or 23, then you'll be ok. IMO 20 or 23 stuff stinks and not worth the money. If you want good Pappy, go with the 15yo.

There is no Pappy 21

No seriously that's still an impressive collection!
Ha! No, nothing like that. I sold off because it's expensive to move in to a new place on my own, especially with a kid. Refurnishing a new house gets pricey.

But I did get all my booze - she doesn't drink bourbon, so that was easy. I told her keep everything else, just give me my bourbon, my kegerator, my beer fridge and my UK memorabilia, and I'll be just fine.

For the record, I didn't sell every unopened bottle. :)

Good stuff. Rumor has it that W12 is simply Van Winkle 12-year that didn't make the cut.

A lot of good stuff in this thread, the winners are William Larue Weller BTAC, Jefferson's Presidential Select 18 year, Pappy 15 ('05)... Well done gentlemen.

I was sipping on Lost Prophet Orphan Barrel after the win yesterday and then some Double Oaked Single Barrel. Haven't opened my Presidential Select 25 year, or my favorite Willett Family Estate Single Barrel 11 year :)
