Does anyone put all or most of their expenses on a rewards credit card? If so which one do you use? What do you recommend?
I've got the Amazon Visa card. I charge everything possible.
Yeah, I think it cuts off at 6k. we have that card as well. Really the only decent card for groceries which stinks b/c that's our biggest expense. I'd like to be earning bonus points on it with a better value.I have the AmEX Blue Cash Card I use for groceries, gives 6% cash back at groceries stores. Pretty sweet deal.
$99 fee but well worth it.I also have the Marriott rewards card. One nice benefit is a free one night stay at your anniversary date each year. Not sure on the fine print but it's a nice little add on.
We do most of our shopping on Amazon and get 3% back on all purchases with the card from Chase. Points are automatically added to the Amazon account tied to the card every month...we've found that we're able to get about $15-30 worth of credits each month. No annual fee.
Read something where people said the Amazon Chase card starts charging you interest from the date of purchase, instead the end of the billing period. Any truth to this?
Yep.Anth, you guys currently/ever thought of putting vendors on a card as a company?
I think that's the Blue Preferred, not just Blue, to get the 6%, right? It's $75 annual fee BUT $150 back if charge $1K in first three months - pretty easy. So that pays for the first two years fee. Also 3% on gas I think. Pretty sweet if big groceries bills.I have the AmEX Blue Cash Card I use for groceries, gives 6% cash back at groceries stores. Pretty sweet deal.
I agree on $6K groceries limit, but 6% of $6K is $360-$75 fee = $295 or still basically 5%.Yeah, I think it cuts off at 6k. we have that card as well. I just got the Delta AMEX b/c I was booking some flights on Delta, got $50 credit and 50k points plus free checked bags which should equate to a decent little clip.
Delta Platinum @ $150/yr gets a companion ticket every year also. Hard to find $150 tickets.
Priority boarding is stupid.
Lol, the "make sure I have bin space" again.
Please let me know the first time this happens to you, or anyone that you know (not having bin space) And if it does, it just means you're flying SW & *completely* forgot to check in...which would be your own damn fault. And even then, you'd have about a 98% chance of finding bin space on the way to your middle seat in the last row.
