Jay: I've been a fan of Rutgers & Penn State my whole life. I always try to keep my responses football related. Never do I disparage any football program for their on or off the field legal, social or cultural issues. Because of this stance I've caught tremendous amount of heat on this board. I pray that one day we kick Penn States *** but right now it's barely a pipe dream and the way you guys are recruiting it very well may be a pipe dream for the next decade. Your Institution gave your head coach the green light to build a team that very well may play in not one but multiple National Championship games. Our Institution on the other hand hires a Head Coach with no HC'ing experience, gives him a shoestring budget and mandates that each recruit have 6 years of boy scouting experience. So, this might explain why many of the posts in this thread are laced with tremendous frustration and frankly jealousy. Again, I hope our Institution will one day opens up its eyes reache out to a winning program and request a one month seminar on what it takes to build a National Championship caliber program so one day we can kick Penn State, OSU and Michigan's ***.

Joe Paterno was a good man who did a tremendous amount of good for college football. Not to mention winning two National Championships and a Rose Bowl.
